I am a perpetual Adorer and it has absolutely changed my way of worshipping and receive our Lord. I find myself in tears of peaceful joy knowing He has forgiven me. I will spend the rest of my days making reparation through Adoration and daily Mass (TLM) for my sins and the sins of the world ❤God bless you Fr.! These talks are wonderful! Thank you!
Hey Father Mike. I’m not Catholic but Pentecostal. I truly receive so much and feel the word of God when I hear you preach it. I am a veteran myself 1998-2008 so thank you for your service to our country and to our Wonderful Savior Christ Jesus!!!
Father Mike what a beautiful homily, i truely believe in the real presence of Our lord Jesus Christ in the Eucharist 🙏. What a blessing to receive the Eucharist, the true presence of Jesus 🙏. The Adoration Chapel is such a blessing 🙏
May the Lord Bless You and Keep you, Father Michael. Greetings from Knoxville, TN. My six year old son is autistic and mostly non speaking. Sometimes hard for us to get to church in person and we always love watching your masses & listening to your words of wisdom. You are a true saint.
Yes I have done that Father sat alone in a church in silence in front of the tabernacle. I felt Jesus Christ's presence and his love for me. I will do it again. Thank you for reminding me of this simple but powerful way of getting close to Jesus.
Your message brings to mind the beautiful song by Amy Grant; Breath of Heaven. "Breath of heaven, hold me together, Be forever near me, breath of heaven. Breath of heaven lighten my darkness pour over me your holiness for you are holy. Breath of heaven." Thank you Fr. Mike for your messages and your Priesthood! God Bless
Thank you Fr Mike Always a pleasure to listen to your homilies, teachings and guidance 🙌🏽 I pray that God increases my faith and understanding. I adore and worship the Holy Eucharist… it is the greatest Gift of Jesus’ Divine Love for all of us. God bless and keep you always
I love sitting in the church, all by myself, in front of the tabernacle. I need that quiet time. But I’m going to remember your prayer that you’re speaking right now. “Breathe on me breath of God…”
Thank you for this beautiful teaching. Your explanation can’t be more clear. May those who don’t believe, believe and May those who believe grow more in love with the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. As we receive Jesus May we all realize the miraculous presence of our Lord with in us as he was in the womb of Our Heavenly Mother. Amen
God bless Father for a moving sermon. Thank you for leading us on a straight path, as lately there is a battle within me. Trying to remain faithful to the Lord.
Nice to listen to the word of God through you father Mike…wish we had priest like you who we can understand what your preaching…have priest here but their accent is so strong difficult to understand what their saying..I listen to many of your priest oh utube❤
Fr Mike, I’ve never understood why Catholics in large numbers now do not believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Do they think it impossible for God to do this? Or do they think He wouldn’t do it for us? God who created everything, all matter in the universe through His Will and sustains it by the same cannot be come the Bread of Life?
I still think of myself as Catholic, but I have left the church, I believe in the Body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, I miss going to communion so very much, but I just don’t believe in having to go to confession, and I just can’t get past that. Don’t think it’s right that withhold the Host , we should have a choice, I believe Jesus forgives our sins. God Bless you Father, you are very awesome 🙏
Jesus has chosen to use His priests to have authority over sin. I would say that we should just obey that. I understand that sins are embarrassing to confess and there is an element of shame, but Jesus commanded it to be done this way and it can be traced directly back to the apostles. Just go. We don’t know better than Jesus Christ. The grace that comes down from Heaven in confession is more powerful than exorcisms. Just go. Don’t rely on your own understanding of things. These sacraments are the keys to the kingdom, they are gifts to us. ❤
I recommend that you find an Anglican church that defines itself as 'liberal Catholic'. No compulsory confession to a priest. We repent in prayer to God. Any group of believers may choose to repent to one another, I have heard this suggested in a Baptist Church. I don't know if you would have that in America? If I am unable to attend church for some reason, as happens now and then I prepare for myself a piece of bread and some wine, asking God that it may be for me the body and blood of our Lord. IMO we can do that. God bless you x
Ur bread and wine is not a consecrated bread and wine done @ the altar during the holy sacrifice of the mass. During the consecration, that bread and wine transforms into the body and blood, soul and Divinity of our lord Jesus Christ. That is our faith, our catholic faith. We believe ❤
Jesus added onto some of the traditions of the Jews such as the Passover becoming the mass. In a similar way, confessing individually to a priest was a tradition that Jews had millennia ago. The key element to a good confession is humility and admittance to wrongdoing, and of course repentance. Confessing to a priest in persona Christi establishes a corporeal confession to Christ, and makes it easier to procure humility. I would challenge yourself to ask why you believe you should not go to a priest for confession. If it’s an issue of authority, there is a scriptural case for that but another fact you should consider is that you are still confessing to Christ when you confess to another person because God is omniscient and we are all temples of the Holy Spirit. Remember that Catholic priests are sworn to secrecy, and that there probably is no sin they haven’t heard already.

You should listen to the Catechism of the Catholic Church with Fr. Schmitz. You might change! It is profound!
