Back in the '50s, they turned a huge inland sea into land, and guess what they found? Over 400 airplane wrecks from WWII! We share some stories about flying the Stearman, the quirks of landing it, and what it's like being part of a flying legacy. Ferry's got his own Stearman, and it's got this sweet new paint job that takes it right back to its glory days.

A few years ago, a Stearman was coming into an airport near me. There was an issue with the brakes and he ended up doing a nose dive into the tarmac. I don't know if it was repaired or retired. Thank you for your channel Captn
