That Math 🤦🏽♀️ be stopping me from waiting to even do certain programs 😭
Listen! I completely agree. When I did math the beginning of my college semester, I was soo over it. It’s not that hard but I feel like math can be exhausting because it just drags on and on lol
Same here 😒
Study tips on Sonography, yesss this is what I wanted to see.

Hi 👋🏾 new about to start sonography..this is helpful
Hey hey! Thank you so much ❤️❤️
I’m been out of high school for almost 10 yrs and have been wanting to go back to school and I’m really interested in sonography! I’m scared that so much time has passed since school that I will struggle going into college 😥 any advice or thoughts on how to have confidence that I can really do this??
Oh wow! I am making a upcoming vlog and I will love to address your comment on my vlog. I should have the video up this upcoming week ❤️
Hi honey! I just started a DMS program and expect for 3 students that are 19, everyone is above 25 and 1/3 of the class is even in late 30s and 40!
Hi my love! Thank you so much for letting me know ❤️
@@vivien2746 awww thank you so much for this insight!! ♥️ it definitely makes me feel better about things!! I appreciate you so much and hope you have a great day ♥️ much love sister!
Hi again, I have answered your question I’m my vlog I posted ☺️
This video is so informative! I’m switching from the Dental Assistant program to Sonography.
I had to take “Structure and Function of Body,” and I learned EVERYTHING that you showed in your notebook. Thank God! 😂
Lol yess! I’m glad I was able to help ☺️☺️ at least A&P would be so easy for you
Just subscribed!! I am currently in school as a nursing major, transferring colleges and switching to sonography. I had to withdrawal from a&p 1 two times this past year. It was all virtual, teach yourself basically. We never zoomed, read textbooks, no quizzes, extra credit, nothing. She gave us 300 lecture slides (black & white) told us to read it and take the tests. We had 4 tests and thats it. Class average for a&p was 50% rounded! I am looking forward to transferring colleges & trying again. It is so discouraging how hard a&p was for me. I hope i get a teacher who doesn’t make me learn on my own:(. Is it normal for class averages to be this low? I don’t know what to do or how to study. I think it was the way the class was taught but who knows. I tried highlighting, RUclips videos, reading, whiteboard, quizlet, etc. I just am praying my professor at the new college won’t teach the same way and at least have us read to textbook, have quizzes, extra credit, lectures in person, etc.
Oh wow! First thing is welcome my love! Of course I can definitely share my tips maybe in another video for you and others who may be going through the exact same thing. Secondly, to answer your question, No with my college of course I took A&P 1 online it was a bit higher than 50% …. it was 70% or you failed the whole class. So with me my professor at the time did an amazing job with her PowerPoints and if I needed that extra help I literally did the research on RUclips or just googled the humane body or any specific body part to help memorize what I am learning to ace my test or final. So my best advice is when going into your new school learn your professor and see how they are teaching online or in person and by that it should relieve some stress. Now if you find that their is still a issue with grasping A&P then my next step would be a tutor on campus grounds. (If they have that option for your college)
I hope this helps my love ❤️ and can always message me for more advice or any kind of help you may need!
Has anyone over here had the dilemma between nursing and sonography ? If so what was the thing to convince you to get into sonography ? Im taking pre reqs which currently can go for either degree so nothing will change for me except physics class and english 201 other than that all my other pre reqs align with both degrees. I would like to hear more from those who been team sonography or changed from nursing to sonography. Im in a rut and cant decide 100% on one or the other they both offer things im interested in. Thanks in advance .
For me personally, nursing is much more demanding on your body, I feel sonography can be done more long term since you don’t lift, feed, clean people while they’re very sick or at their lowest point in life. In nursing you have to give so much grace and so much of yourself for the sake of your patients. I’m a CNA now, I’m glad I tried it because now i know definitively that nursing ain’t for me.
You’re more likely to be assaulted either sexually or physically unfortunately as well and most laws are put against you if you defend yourself. I’ve heard and seen some horrible stuff in the little time I’ve been working in my nursing home. Nursing can be fulfilling but not for me, it’s NOT a profession you enter for money even though earning potential is very high.
I'm in the same situation . Started nursing , first semester, and realized I do not like the duties that come with nursing and too many patient interactions😅 I love science and love helping people but didn't realize nursing is alot ...
I actually signed up this week. In order to get into the program I have to retake my ACT and score 20 or above 😅 prep classes and actual classes here I go.
Omg! Yess, I pray that pass your ACT and get ready for this new journey of yours 🥰🥰 good luck ❤️
Yes your video can very helpful. I am on my way to school for this. Are there any good tips.
Hey glad to find your channel new sub here ❤
Yess hey! Welcome to the family ❤️❤️
Thank you
Hi, I am wondering if you would be required to get the flu/covid vaccines yearly in this position/career? Thanks.
Hi! Good morning, I don’t think you have too for this career. However, some states/hospitals may want you too. So it depends on where you live and decide to work. But I don’t think so though ❤️
Have you done ULTRASOUNDS on People with Crohns Disease????
Hey! Not as of yet! I haven’t gotten to my program just yet. Still finishing up my prerequisites ☺️
How long before the test we should start studying for the Hesi section of anatomy ?
Hey! I’d say once you start your anatomy 1 class, should start preparing for that part of the Hesi.
Pretty sure we go to the same school ! I just picked classes on the 1st
Really? I would ask what school lol but if you want to talk more, definitely DM me on instagram
@@Briiyanna lol yea really! I went for social work back in 2014 but stopped junior year now I’m 28 & I needa go back so I choose this field! I’ll add you
Ohhh wow! Okay. Yeah let’s definitely talk in the DMs
What school did you go to online for sonography?
Hi! I don’t want to share the actual school I went to specifically because of privacy reasons. However, I started out at a community college. Depending on where you go (trade, technical, college, or university) you’ll have a few prerequisites to do then you can start in your DMS program. Hopefully this helps 🩷🩷
Dang! This seems just as bad as going for nursing 😮
Honestly, from the stories I’ve heard about nursing. I can say studying to be an sonographer is up there. You have to be on your P’s & Q’s for sure
Baby college algebra got me in a chockhold. I failed it 3 times. 😂 4th times the charm I hope 🥹
Oh wow! Girl college algebra is no joke! I literally hated it so much trust me I passed with an C. And that was barley making it lol so I completely get it. You got this babes 🫶🏽🫶🏽
@@Briiyanna right I was always almost there then boom a final brings me down!! Thank you boo 💕 Lw your journey is smooth!
I suck at math and statistics had me crying I passed but lord while in it I was like this is hell. You got this keep pushing !
What school do you go to ? Is it mostly online?
Hi, I don’t want to disclose the school I attended because of privacy reasons. But I can say any technical, community college, or sonography school should help.
