34:38 Very interesting possition. I feel a bit rusty, since you considder moves here that i did not even think of. Rc8 i dont think works as you also concluded. However d7 i think perhaps do work. If they play Re7, then you have Rc8#. What a brilliant move here.. it was your idea. You just didnt calculate it deep enough i think.
At 5:21 remember white dont have to take on e4 with knight. They also have Bxe4. So perhaps it was better to play Nf6 first anyway. Possible white is still in a bit of trouble after fxe4, Bxe4, but at least d5 emediately dont work for black right? Perhaps can still play Nf6 after fxe4 also. And white has to find a way out of the fork. But i think the way you played it with Nf6 first is more sneaky. Difficult to spot that the potential forkhas to be dealth with emediately. There is some Qe2 pin in the cards. But perhaps Qe7 and white has same problem.
Loved the different accents sneaking out. I'm new to chess and YT. Glad to find more UK chessists
Glad you like them!
Very nicely played Ben. You started off very concentrated. And even the few little mistakes made no difference really. Thanks mate.
Thanks a lot!
Do you include s4 in your Sherlock rewatches? A brave man.
So far. I'm not a huge fan of the final episode though.
Smooth playing Hunty. You were concentrating well in this video.
Yeah, I felt good. Maybe that's the trick -- don't sleep!!

How are you man.i remember you are from Sheffield
All good, although I'm about to quit the area and move up to the North of Scotland!
28:20 check captures attacks: Re7+ Must be very tempting here?
Re7+, Kc8, Rc7+, Kb8, Bxc6,
if bxc6; Rxc6.
If Rxd6, perhaps Rxb7+ and i guess life is good ;)

Yes Be7 also works same. Nice played.
De-encourageising…did I hear right ? ( around 8:30 )
Yes, it's an in-joke on the channel. Comes from a comedy sketch in the 1990s (The Day Today, Natus sketch)
Oh also, Sherlock is amazing
