Finally..... someone who understood the importance of this interview. Everyone else is drooling over Terry Pendleton. Anyway... We will miss you, Whitey Herzog.
With T.P. At 3rd and Ozzie at SS, hitting to the left side wasn’t a good idea. RIP to the White Rat. Best manager the Birds ever had. No disrespect to Red.
TP is one of my favorite players from when I was a young Atlanta fan, and I was fortunate enough to meet him at Fulton County Stadium. Solid dude, & class act!
We didn't trade him-he signed as a free agent with Atlanta after the 1990 season. But, I get your point. We had Todd Zeile waiting to be our next 3rd baseman and Pendleton hit .230 in '90.
RIP Mr. Herzog. From a fan base that was adversarial for a number of years, you were one of that greatest baseball men in history. You will never be forgotten for your contributions to our great game. A sad day for all that love our great game.
Pendleton should have retired a Cardinal.
RIP Whitey!❤

The Cardinals surely could use a manager like Whitey now. RIP

TP! Always liked Terry. Hell of a third baseman.

TP was a brilliant fielder
Pendleton was a gamer. I remember when he walked off the field when Marvin Freeman would not protect the Braves hitter.
He changed the culture as soon as he got to the Braves.
I really miss T.P., he is a class act and a favorite of mine. I'd love to see you on some other MLB Central shows T.P.!
Whitey made watching baseball fun! I quit watching since
Great fielder, Cardinals were dumb for trading him. Braves sure liked it.

Terry is awesome and I am very sorry about whitey passing

My dude T.P. I'm glad he went to the Braves. Couldn't have won without him!!!
