If we really want to be deeply spiritual....then should we stop living life of materialistic entertainment family life....i.e. to meet friends...to go for a movie...to watch television shows...??
Yes, great Masters have given all sorts of spiritual practices, and different religions, to the world so that everyone can find a suitable path and no one gets left out. Beautiful truth. One's constitution is suitable for this specific path while someone else is best suited to that certain path. It took me a long time to learn this. But understanding this brings great peace and when I see someone on a path different from mine I can feel joy in that they have what's best for them. 😊🙏
YES going towards oneself is exploring that 11th Direction where KRISHNA resides..where the REAL ME resides...meeting that actual ME is what every MASTER has been telling us. And this journey of Self-exploration makes Life more Beautiful..😊🌻
I truly appreciate your talk. Why? You say, every one should select a guru according to his or her wavelength of spirtual understanding. And as Mohanji said, we reach different levels as time or age goes.. We can change guru , as who suits us.. But remaining in the path is important. Hrudaya kuhara madhye kevelam Brahma Matram. We can reach a stage, whatever we are doing, we have an awareness that we are connected to That. Then all questions stop. Please listen with your heart, not intellect.... 🙏🌳👍
I find it more fascinating and tons of wisdom in what you deliver to your disciples. I find it is the way I would connect to Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya, Sree Narayana Guru and Shirdi Sai Baba. I feel these words from you are spoken by them. Lots of gratitude and deep reverence to you Guruji.
Good question - if somebody says to mediate in the middle of crisis ... that’s the real test . I had same thoughts that we should practice this so much and think before you act ... good to hear that I am on right path
What Mohanji is describing, was taught by the Buddha 2500 years ago, as MINDFULNESS. There is a huge interest in this worldwide. It can also be stated to be Mindfulness in Motion. To maintain a presence of mind, moment to moment in everyday life. For me personally, it is to allow the Vijnaana-maya-kosha of my mind to prevail over the Mano-maya-kosha. Even that layer of mind can be overcome by our layer of bliss, see below. What turns me OFF about Mohanji, is what seems to be an obsession with Masters and Gurus and to submit to them, particularly Shirdi Sai Baba. The greatest Guru in the universe, GOD, called BRHMN by our Vedas, is already deep within our consciousness; that Guru IS our Inner/Greater Consciousness. Mohanji makes the spiritual journey seem like a tedious trek up a mountain, whereas it really is all about finding the true JOY within us, to allow the deepest part of the mind, the Aananda-maya-kosha, to prevail. Look at children, they are often joyful for no reason. As adults, if we can find joy moment to moment, despite whatever life throws at us, then we have arrived. Joy is our birthright. The more tedious the Saadhana or practice, the more the joy gets hidden from the surface. I never did understand the Bhagavad Geetha till I studied Chinese Taoism, for instance. The Tao teaches us to relax, FLOW, and be like water. Water is so gentle and yielding, yet is powerful to wear down even the hardest of rocks in the course of time. So for me, it has been extremely valuable to study Buddhism and Taoism, and blend that knowledge with our own Vedanta. Interestingly, I could not have understood Taoism if I had not already known the teachings of Vedantha. The Tao (pronounced Dao) is the mind of the universe. It is the BRHMN of our Vedantha. There are numerous translations of the Tao, and this one is from 1891: sacred-texts.com/tao/taote.htm Submitted with great respect. That said, I will sign off and will not intrude into this channel again. Wishing the best of blessings to everyone on this channel. I will, though, leave a poem/essay I wrote many years ago: Imagine an ice cube with a precious jewel in its center, woven into place by a near-invisible tapestry which pervades all things. All the ice cube needs to do is melt away to reveal the jewel in all its brilliance, which in turn sheds light on the weave beneath. It is that simple. All we need to do is melt away our mind to reveal the brilliance of God, the Great Mind within. It is, again, that simple. The constructs of religion, however, have consistently placed the precious jewel beyond our grasp, and have contrived innumerable and unbelievably complex means of trying to find it. To simply just melt seems too ridiculously simple; humanity would rather add layer upon infinite layer of complexity to the ice cube, leaving the jewel farther and farther from reach. Now you, my friend, as the ice cube, could bounce up and down temple steps, take a trip around the world’s places of pilgrimage, stand upside down, and invent a thousand other ways of finding the jewel, which ironically is frozen hard in place, not allowed expression, while the ice cube frantically explores the universe for the jewel. If only it would loosen up and melt, and allow the jewel to shine forth in all its radiance, the Christian cube would find the Christ within, the Muslim cube would truly surrender to Allah, the Hindu one would merge with Atman the God-within-us, and the Buddhist cube with the Buddha-Nature within. Having done so, they’d all be amazed to find that it’s the same jewel within them all: The Infinite One, without a second. Warp and weft, is the intricate weave of life energy that pervades through us in our state of delusional stupor. All our joys, sorrows, and other transient phenomena are like a never-ending play on the gossamer, subtle, tapestry beneath, which stays unchanging, ethereal and eternal. There’s no more effective way to find God than to simply just melt our cold hard unyielding minds. Let go and dissolve, O mind, and reveal the radiance from that inner Gem beneath. You need no striving, no scripture, no ritual, no mantra, and no guru. For as you melt, the Jewel’s brilliance will shine over you and light your way always.
Dear Raja, as you have rightly discovered, there are many paths to the same ultimate Goal. Mohanji describes his Path- the Path of Pathlessness. It is an individualistic path with no set ways. People who follow Mohanji are karma yogis, bhakti yogis, jyana yogis and raja yogis, in many different permutations and combinations. Having said that, it is also the path of fire, that burns up all impurities. When you get on this path, you will have your hair (or ego) singed! It does not suit everyone. Only the ones suited for this path, or eligible for it, will be attracted to it. Mohanji (or any Master, for that matter) does not need people to follow him. In fact it is us ordinary, unaware people who benefit from the presence of Masters in our lives. I wish you much joy in your journey to your Self. With love, Team Mohanji. 🙏🏽 ps- I wonder if you have read some of Mohanji's blogs. For some reason, I am minded to draw your attention to the following blog, which you (or someone else reading this exchange), may find interesting: brahmarishimohanji.wordpress.com/2010/07/28/babaji-beyond-definitions-part-3/ Team Mohanji.
Thank you Mohanji.... that was really good and answered many of my doubts. Wanted to know if you conduct sessions in Bangalore, any possibility of meeting you. I will be fortunate.
Dear Shubha, thank you for your interest in attending Mohanji's session. Mohanji is not usually directly accessible except at retreats. There is a retreat planned for February next year, in Bali. More details may be found on the website mohanji.org/events/awaken-your-inner-joy-with-mohanji/. Mohanji has trained many Acharyas who are active in many countries around the world. If you live in India, you may wish to connect to the Mohanji India Facebook page where Acharya programmes and Mohanji's online satsanghs are announced. You could also ask to be added into your local WhatsApp group. The quickest way to do this is by using the chatbox function on the lower left corner of the website. With love, Team Mohanji.
Dear ER, Mohanji suggests that you try different options to find what suits you. He suggests that once you decide to follow a Master however, it would be better to stick to that Master, rather than changing every few years. Love, Team Mohanji.
If mohanji suits for you, go for him, perfectly good. I find his teachings EXTREMELY effective and practical, for our times. Personally, I would have loved to continue the journey with mohanji, since I'm an Indian. And our major religion here is Hinduism. And mohanji's teachings and his message of service is just WOW ❤️!! But there's a reason for which I've chosen the Buddha's path. Existence knows it. I am bound to it. My search started with enlightenment, and it would end with enlightenment. Nothing less would do for me. I can't help it. It's beyond me to choose. It's my choiceless responsibility.
@@MohanjiOfficial I can't believe you are actually replying to each query asked. Hats off for that. But that might do more harm than good. Mind doesn't value that which it gets easily. If any random query, without appropriate reflection and consideration is asked, and the team replies so very beautifully to each one of those,, it's highly unlikely that the mind would give it any special significance. You understand the true worth of light only if you've been through, and known, darkness. Mind doesn't value that which it gets for free/easily. Only if it has longed and sufficiently paid the price to know the solution,, should it be provided the solution. Because that's the only way it will appreciate the solution's true worth. And actually apply it to his own life. Rather than just shoo-ing it out. Which happens,, when you get something for free and effortlessly. Just a humble suggestion. 🙏❤️ No offense intended.
@anOridinary humanBeing, it is no coincidence that you have reached a living Master. On the path of Pathlessness that Mohanji tells us about, there is no prescribed path, but only an individual journey that each of us has to make, based on our constitution and the karmic agenda that we carry for this life. There are people who identify as Christian, Muslim and Buddhist who benefit from Mohanji's teachings, without compromising their own beliefs. If anything, some people have commented that they understand their faith better by listening to Mohanji's talks. Please consider if this can work for you. With love, Team Mohanji.
No offence taken, dear co-traveller on the journey. Following Mohanji's own example and unconditional love, we would rather that some of our answers are disregarded, than that someone who is reaching out in desperation, or with true humility is ignored. Besides, the answers given may help someone else reading at a later point in time. With love, Team Mohanji.
Mohanji says that the third eye automatically gets activated when we connect to the spine. As the connection to the spine increases, Mohanji says, the awareness shifts. The third eye (aagnya chakra) becomes energised. The way one perceives the world changes. At some point, when the channel is clear and without blockages, the third eye opens. Consciousness Kriya (the Kriya method that Mohanji initiates people into) will also aid this process.
Please visit the webpage- mohanji.org/consciousness-kriya/ to read more about the sacred technique of Consciousness Kriya and make an application. There are also other videos uploaded on the (old) Mohanji channel where Mohanji talks about Consciousness Kriya.
Dear Sindhu Lakshmi, please elaborate on your question to enable us to understand which stages or places you are referring to. With love, Team Mohanji.
What I cannot understand Mohanji, is that u just explained that practices cannot be forced on oneself, but in a other of yr talks, you said that discipline and determination has to be there for every novice walking on the path of spirituality. In order to break bad lazy habits one has to align oneself to new habits isnt it , which means turning into a new leaf by taking on new habits. This means enforcing oneself to do it isnt it? Please explain.
@Rights of Woman in India, when you are sure that you are on the correct path for _you_, discipline and determination are needed to keep going. However, before we reach the point of being absolutely sure, we can try out different paths, different Masters, different practices etc. At that stage, it is important not to force a practice that does not suit our nature or our constitution. With love, Team Mohanji.
