- Well the day got off to a rough start but it turned out to be a great day. We really pushed Pauls ability in the trees and he did struggle but for someone who has never been in that kind if terrain he did great.

Kudos to whoever Paul is for surviving a day keeping up with the Rippers. Def getting a Skydio, but it'll be years before I'll be good enough to show me tree riding or sidehilling publicly.

Crazy that after 60 days Matt continues to just keep raising the bar....even when it's just a short day in the trees....great shots again....really not looking forward to end of season....morning coffee is just not going to be the same without my Muskoka free rider....thanks for the entertainment Matt...from my icy wind blowin igloo on the mountain.

I absolutely love that you guys picked up a guy you didn't know and let him ride with you for the day. I'm moving to Montana in a few months and have snowmobiled my whole life. I really hope I'm fortunate enough to meet up with a group of people like you guys!
Great video and riding Matt and crew 👍. Love seeing the doo out, differently tell the doo side panels limit the steep side hilling. Hope the 2023 is better, can't wait to see next year's videos..

I’ve been watching everyday for the las few weeks. Bro, you must be in some kind of sick, mma style shape to ride as hard and long day after day as you do. Up when it’s dark, ride like an animal until dark, edit/upload film, repeat. Thanks for the films. Respect.

i picked up the removable snowflap for the doo's this season. I was over heating a lot on trail. dropped the temps a good 20 degrees and very rarely do i overheat on trail now. just end up pulling it off and strapping it to the tunnel bag once im in the zone i want.
ive actually never had this issue in the last 4 years out here, just an icy year!
@@MuskokaFreerider neither have i. It was a tough start to the year here. Rented a cabin that was 8 miles of trail riding and 2 miles of whoops, to get to some decent zones. Didn't think much of it. That is till the weather was like spring in January. it would melt then freeze over night. Making the trials similar to yours. The flap didn't fix it 100% but was worth it not stopping every couple minutes.

It's awesome you did this for this guy. It would be awesome if you and your team would seek out guys wanting to learn more about riding a mountain sled would be awesome. I would enjoy you guys teaching them the basics that would help the sport of riding. You and your team of riders would influence people to go out and enjoy the outdoors of riding.
Not that I do any Mtn riding, but our season has come to an end here in New England. Maybe one huge storm tomorrow (Sat) but with fuel prices currently and a 6 hr. drive to get to the good riding.... I'm done. I really enjoy watching your skill set on the slopes. Wish I was 25+ years younger....with a good bank account and I would love to try serious mtn riding. My off trail riding has retired to finding logging roads in the hills that have not been ridden knowing there are no trees in the way and no stumps below the snow. All done adding parts to the "Wall of Shame" in the cabin garage.

Have you considered renting or demoing an alpha one. Such an underrated sled imo and needs a popular RUclipsr with unbiased opinion to get some eyes on it

Love the content man! Just one question, what makes your sleds over heat? Just trail riding?
Good question. Yes, trailing riding on frozen snow. Paddles cannot kick up enough snow and ice to the heat exchanger and they do not run ice scratchers.
Not having snowflaps on the mountain sleds is the big issue. snowflaps catch the snow and kick it up on the tunnel. when you don't have a snowflap the snow does not get to the heat exchanger on the tunnel and overheats
Another bad ass video as always you never disappoint 🤘🏻🤟🏻 can someone tell me why the sleds are overheating now but didn’t over heat in deep deep snow just curious I live in Indiana so I don’t know anything about sleds. No snow here lol
When there’s not enough fluffy snow for the track to kick up and cool the heat exchanger the sled overheats
Warm during the day and cold at night makes the trail hard as a rock in the morning. Even with the scratchers down, you can't get enough snow onto the heat exchangers.
