Durch die Auswahl des richtigen Materials können Verarbeiter die verbauten Emissionen aktiv beeinflussen. Schüco bietet neben dem Standard-Aluminium zwei neue Aluminiumgüten an: Mit Schüco Low Carbon und Ultra Low Carbon Aluminium können bei Projektausschreibungen Profile mit besonders niedrigem CO₂-Wert angeboten und in SchüCal kalkuliert werden. Möglich wird dies durch den Einsatz von Recyclingmaterial als Rohstoff sowie durch Grünstrom bei der Produktion.

Die Belieferung mit Schüco Low Carbon und Schüco Ultra Low Carbon Aluminium erfolgt nach dem Kontingentverfahren. Das bedeutet, dass in der Auslieferung nicht zwischen den verschiedenen Materialgüten unterschieden wird. By choosing the right materials, fabricators can actively influence the construction emissions. In addition to the standard aluminium, Schüco offers two new aluminium grades. With Schüco Low Carbon and Ultra Low Carbon aluminium, profiles with a particularly low CO₂ value can be offered in project specifications and calculated in SchüCal. This is made possible by the use of recycled material as a raw material as well as green energy during production.

Schüco Low Carbon and Schüco Ultra Low Carbon aluminium is supplied in accordance with the allotment process. This means that no differentiation is made between the different material grades for delivery.
