Dash Slasher lol where? They copied the entire world and art style. Just because you throw in abilities and turn it into action rpg does not mean they’re exempt from the fact that they BLATANTLY copied botw’s art direction. Game looks great but the fact that they couldn’t come up with their own direction is disappointing to say the least.

Cuz the gliding climbing enemy camp sites slimes and more are literally a crystal clear copy I don't hate the game but I'm just saying its obvious

Slimes are very generic RPG mobs in a lot of western and Japanese rpg games, enemy camps have been around long before BOTW, and even long before Skyrim and are very common in open world games. Climbing and gliding are also game mechanics that do not come from BOTW initially as they aren't staple features of the zelda franchise and were borrowed from other games. BOTW is a beautiful game, but it's not particularly unique in a way where these features are specifically tied to BOTW. Though I can forgive Nintendo players, since there hasn't been many open world RPG games on Nintendo platforms, so BOTW was a really unique experience for that platform at the scale it was delivered.
I can see similarities for sure in the way those features are handled, I'm not going to deny that this game has clearly been inspired by BOTW, but I can see influences from a lot of games here. It doesn't jump out to me as a BOTW clone but rather a mash up of a lot of popular games. There is a piece of music in this game that sounds almost identical to FFX's "To Zanarkand", and theres a lot of final fantasy elements here aswell. Genshin Impact isn't a unique game by any means, it has borrowed heavily from other franchises, even themes like character swapping during combat are not unique to this game.

For all the western players out there, if you decide to play this, welcome to the "asian lootbox system"
Mobage style game here uses gacha that doesnt have "exact guranteed" like guranteed to not get the same item or something, big changes you get dupe, still there's guranteed SSR at least, every 90 roll in this game cases
And you don't need to gacha, its not necessary, unless you're a very competitive person toward pve game, OR getting tempted looking at all those cool characters, well the latter seems more likely
Anyway, thats all, welcome, lets try to enjoy the game without bashing it too much, because they DID put effort into it.
Westerner here, I've played many games with the "Asian lootbox system" doesn't really bother me, hyped to play this later though. I've been waiting on this for over a year now
As a westerner I welcome the Asian loot box system because as an adult with money I always see it as a challenge. “Ok I can grind the currency or do it the easy way and pay”. Luckily my strong will stops me from paying 😁

@@Kronos0999 True. I think the main thing in the store is buying characters and I read that throught a looooot of hard work you can unlock them for free. But even if people can progress faster with money, this is a closed world with only 4 players (3 friends I hope) and you'll be able to have a lot of fun. The fact that the game isn't a massive multiplayer game makes me sad but at the same time makes me relieved on the pay to win

I've been playing the past 4 days I've become addicted. In my opinion, (people are gonna hate me for this) it's much better than breath of the wild. The map is lively and there are rarely any areas where its completely empty. Finding a village is a nice surprise too.
Yesterday I installed its mobile version in my mobile phone and after 12 mins of complete process found maintanence break .

The game is a free semi open world rpg. Although free comes with a trade that it is semi gatcha related so you'd have to spend some money rolling for the best heroes or grind much longer to use free heroes but at their max potential.

@@heyyoudownthere8303 If you have a PC, you can download it from there. That's the only way to get around it. The game is subtitled in French, plus, PC version can cross save with mobile, so you can play on the go with your phone.
