I think it can be invalidated with the fact that BTC is running out. Not sure this theory takes into account the supply shock.
bottom was at $15,479, 415% from there is somewhere between $79-80k, I'm coming up with $79,500

Charts and theories are for fortune tellers. Up and to the right overtime that’s all anyone should care about. Long term up and to the right. Warren Buffett tried to time markets for 15 years back in the day trading and he finally learned that buying and holding and down cost averaging is the best strategy not trying to predict what will happen.

Bottom in this cycle was at $16,000 (rounding off) × 415% (this is 5.3 of the last cycles total spread) = $66,400. This value is already lower than we had hit in this cycle therefore this theory is voided (can not be valid).

The thing is, cycle on the markets are made to take the liquidity from the majority, what kind of money they can take if this cycle will not reach the mass retail? This bull run has has almost no retails and majority of the money if institutional so are they pickpocketing each other? And flushing what? They will flush themselves? Majority of btc holders now is institutional even the miners, so they will flush to let retails come at low price? I don’t think it will happen.

So the next percentage move off the bottom will be 78% (415/5.3). So if $80k is this bullmarket top, the bottom could be around $40-$50k. Which means next cycle would potentially lower than the previous one - and this would repeat, with each new cycle high lower than the previous one. Not very reassuring for investors...🤨
Does this mean there is no alt season? In the last run when Bitcoin was at this price the alts were much higher than now.
Could you do your production for the next 20 year cycle? If the 5.3 indicator is showing in this smaller cycle does that mean the larger cycle will be bearish for the next 20 years before another 20 year bull run?

If we drop below 57K which is below the bull market support band the 5.3 should be considered. If the reverse head and shoulders plays out we are back to all time highs.

Majority of alts will follow BTC path. But there are alphas in any market. If BTC drops, then most alts will follow. If BTC pumps, then most alts will follow too. I use TokenMetrics to find the alphas.

Actually indicators work because everybody knows about them. They give the buy and sell signals to the people that follow them.

According to 5.3 theory, top is barely at 80k. So, this is not the top. There is still more upside. When btc tops, then alts will pump.
