  • Red Rock Canyon Park outside of Las Vegas is a true paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Its unique geological formations, vibrant red sandstone cliffs, and stunning desert landscapes make it a must-visit destination. So, let's dive in and explore the wonders of this remarkable park.
One of the highlights of Red Rock Canyon is the scenic drive, a 13-mile loop that winds through some of the most breathtaking landscapes you'll ever see. Along the way, there are several overlooks where you can stop, take pictures, and marvel at the panoramic views of the park.
The sandstone cliffs of Red Rock Canyon were formed over millions of years of geologic activity, resulting in these stunning and dramatic shapes.
The bike I was riding was a Giant Talon hardtail outfitted with a pedal assist crankset. Nothing fancy but it did a fantastic job. The motor doesn’t engage unless you’re actually pedaling compared to other e-bikes that you can throttle alone or combine with pedaling. We covered over 27 miles and 2200 feet of elevation in about 2.5 hours with many many stops along the way for picture taking and sight seeing.
It's a fun thing to do in Las Vegas.

Great video. Got a couple questions: Did you rent these bikes at Las Vegas Cyclery? Did these ebikes come with any kind of water bottle holder? I'll be in Vegas on a solo trip in early September (heat could be an issue) and wondering if I should bring a backpack for this. (I'm trying to avoid checking a bag with the airline.)

Hi. We rented them through one of the travel websites. I'll attach the link. As far as water, each bike had a bag attached to the handlebars. There was a complimentary bottle of water included but it was big enough to hold another if you wanted to carry more. I believe the welcome center also sold drinks. www.viator.com/tours/Las-Vegas/Red-Rock-Canyon-Self-Guided-Electric-Bike-Tour/d684-60124P1
