I like this update , a lot. It makes possible to enjoy the total map , solo. No hussle, no bullshit , shitty people and more time when i want to drive , not as much as a slave but enjoying again. The drive if u want to. When i can ... Ik a truck driver. Limited spare time.
21:55 If the engine has a head end throttle (in the smokebox near the cylinders) then the response to inputs is more immediate. I think the throttles are modeled in the steam dome as far as the sound goes but the actual throttle response time seems too quick to me for that. I guess it's another quirk of the game.
YES YES! With their teaser they gave soon after release, I am hoping so also! I would love to just check a few boxes for which industries I want it to switch, then the engineer get to it!
@dhtrainz4798 I've been using the wye point for the log jobs and building jobs. I can focus more on switching and passangers. While letting AI do it's thing. I had to babysit it when I was setting up connelly creek with unloaded cars at each point, but it makes it easier after it's been set up.
It is very logical Steam locomotives when you Shut Down the throttle it takes a little Time with a Little delay before it actually answers. Doe cylinders are not small and a Steam locomotive is a Living Big thing. It's only very logical
I think I will like this updated version as long as all the mods are still compatible. Does anyone know? I have additional tracks and industries installed at Almond, Whittier and Barkers along with all the asset buildings etc.
Dear DHTrainz, enjoyed your video. My venting here is not aimed at you. Just the Railroader Community as a whole. So, you are telling me that you all are cheering for something that takes the same amount of work to set up properly, doesn't preclude meets, needs to have you force trains past signals (why have signals then) just to have the choo choo go the same place that a fusee and a knowledge of the signals and your route would accomplish? To do this, you have to kill the mods that use Strange Custom, leaving us with the original cr*ppy map that the mods have made more user friendly? Sorry. On my computer that is better than the system recommended, the video jerks more and more as you add usable locos to the game. DEVs can't duplicate problem but have seen it in numerous vids on RUclips (not this one). Not a happy camper and will NOT be using the BETA. 980+ hrs into this game and I'm getting tired of the desire to make the game play itself. Fix the game or I'm gone. UBoat, another Unity based game, does not jitter on my system. They tell ME it's MY system. Yeah, right. 😁🧂🤯
It’s finally happened. DH has been banished to the shadow realm (Cochran)
It’s been a good run! Lol I guess I’ll see you guys once you run by to Alarka!

Thanks for watching and commenting! Hopefully more buildings with each update.

I agree, it adds a lot of helpful management tools for single player!
Having played for a few hours, things are a bit more crisp for sure. They changed something, it's good.
I definitely feel so, but it could also just be my vain hope lol
Graphics look the same to me, you’re seeing things there bud!
Haha my eyes tell the truth! They’re the best eyes! Haha
@@dhtrainz4798 whatever you say man! Maybe you can get a VR video for a subscriber milestone someday
@Redtomato7 ooh not a bad idea actually! Now just to fund the tech for that… haha

Now I'm waiting for them to have a mode where the crew will automatically work and switch industries.

The wye point also realignes the switch after it passes through.
I did not notice this but I love that! Helpful feature for sure!

Yessir, I just have a problem of leaving my cutoff at 100% accidentally and wandering why my loco won’t accelerate past 13mph haha

I’ve heard mixed results about if it works well with mods or not.
@@dhtrainz4798 My experience says it does not. They won't admit it but they don't care.
