this song makes me cry because it makes me remember when everything was good. i didnt know things were bad..... and everything is fucked up now.. blah.. so sad.
@@cadpiglucky i definitely agree. I grew up in the 90s in a small town in the midwest. I still hangout with a few of my childhood friends once a week. We constantly talk about how we had the last great childhoods. It is so sad to watch our once great small town become corrupted because of divisive politics and development. Democrats and Republicans need to stop fighting. Neither is right and neither is completely wrong. Democrats have been instigating drama over the last decade though. My town was a peaceful conservative small town. Now its 50/50. Since Democrats have moved in we lost many businesses and the police are now corrupt. When i was young the police in my town used to leave kids alone now they are trying to arrest anyone they can for petty nonsense. Democrats and Republicans CAN'T live together it only causes drama. Not trying to be political, just pointing out that America is collapsing because neither side will mind their own business.
I've always wanted to hear this song without The Mic fight ending because I think it would be awesome. But I grew up on Rugrats and will always remember this song. thanks for having it up here.
This was the saddest episode of rugrats. I was starting school when rugrats first aired. To see them as preteens and teens was very depressing. This show represented the innocence of being a child in the 90s.
I think the intention of All Grown Up was to keep up with the times. Children born in the 90's were getting ready to hit their teen years by the early to mid 2000s. To help stay relevant, the creators wanted to show us the struggles that all teens have/will have and basically have us all relate to the characters on the show.
@@whysoserious9257 i was starting school when rugrats first aired. It wrapped up after I graduated. This show was my childhood. The 90s were a much more innocent time. I would hate to be a child now. Everything is political and highly sexualized.
@@childfreechurch4854 I agree with you, nowadays things are weird, and crazy! I think that animators should go back to the past, but with modern quality, I liked it when times were innocent and creative!
the fact i remembered EACH And EVERY flashback clips by heart says so much. Rugrats was part of my life and ugh, i'm almost 20 and still crying cuz of this :( saw this episode on new years eve 2009 and bawled at my then-wet-blanket.
