Oh, the skating and rinks we had one here in Utah. It's called the galleria, and it had skating arcade, batting cages, bowling up food, we'd get an all day pass. It included everything but nickel machines. You'd actually have to pay a whole quarter for a video game like mortal combat and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Those are the best weekends
I remember my sisters used to do the I stuck my finger in electrical socket hair style. where they take a hairdryer and that nasty hairspray and spray their bangs and the sides, so they look like elephant ears, and I just remember going through windstorms, and hear the hair rattle we didn't do the spandex ungodly, color we did the stone washed denim pantsabd leather fringed jackets, cause we were really into the rock scene.
Aquanet hairspray. My hair has always been super thick and heavy so those style didn’t work for me. My friends did though. I still love the acid washed look.
Yup MTV just played videos and that’s how we got to see the new music videos. I didn’t have it at home but I did see it when I go over at friends houses

I liked watching cartoons. I'd watch like fragle rock and he man and Shira Care Bears Transformers, but I also really liked watching the cooking shows. After the cartoons. My favorite was Yan Can Cook so you can to.
@LonnaRae i had all the action figures for the teenage meet ninja turtles.And he used to have a huge tom stuff toy. With the oversized blue big head, I loved it.
@ not at all! I still carried my blockbuster card in my wallet up until a few years ago when my wallet was stolen. Pretty sure I listed that item on the police report as “priceless.” 😂
@@LonnaRae I have always felt blessed to be born in 1990 because I got to experience the old way of life fading out and the explosion of the age of technology. Saturday morning cartoons and home phones and spending time outside not worrying about getting kidnapped and murdered at 10 years old. I got to play on my dad’s original Atari and Nintendo. I had to blow out the cartridges and everything lol. But now im hip with the age of technology and I was quick to adapt to the change. But life seems way simpler pre 1990

I didn’t even learn how to type until I was a sophomore in high school which was in 1991. 🤣🤣 You’re just a young pup compared to me. 😅 Anyhow, point is, I’ve always struggled with technology, and think that’s partly due to not really having the newer tech until I was grown. And I got my first cell phone in 1998 and my first computer in 1999 with dial up internet that sucked. 🤣🤣
