  • This video shows how I made a metal sliding drawer for my overland trailer (Safari Conqueror Basecamp). I chose to use metal vice wood for durability but I definitely sacrificed weight. Overall I am happy with how it turned out. If there are any questions let me know in the comments.
    Primary Tools Used:

    -Angle Grinder: Cheap Chicago Electric from Harbor Freight (seems they do not sell it any longer)
    Parts:
    -Basic primer/paint from the hardware store

    Curious why you chose to nutsert the tracks to the floor vs welding them in place.

      Thanks for asking. I chose to go that route simply so I would have the ability to remove it if needed.
