- This video shows how I made a metal sliding drawer for my overland trailer (Safari Conqueror Basecamp). I chose to use metal vice wood for durability but I definitely sacrificed weight. Overall I am happy with how it turned out. If there are any questions let me know in the comments.

Curious why you chose to nutsert the tracks to the floor vs welding them in place.
Thanks for asking. I chose to go that route simply so I would have the ability to remove it if needed.
