    Very good instruction, thank you. Charcoal really appeals to me. I guess aesthetically but also as a technique for rendering values. The substance itself is so primitive. I've had fun making my own charcoal sticks over a campfire. Pencils offer far more control however. What technique do you use for keeping the side of your drawing hand from delivering charcoal across your drawing?

    Guys this video is stolen...from Kirsty Patridge..it's her voice and the video is exact same....I saw this particular video on her channel before it was even uploaded on this channel..
