Some fantastic points made here. Especially with the ones where the MFD moves around way too much depending on what car you're in. As someone who just got their hands on VR and I constantly spend seconds on first looking for the MFD and then get used to the position it is in it is quite annoying.
One thing I would personally like to add to the "Want" list is being able to map buttons to move your "seating position" like you can in ACC instead of having to wait for a straight and guess where to reset your camera at, potentially leaving you at risk to other drivers hitting the pause menu.
Keep up the good work!
That is something I've thought in the past, and just didn't think of for this video. Good suggestion though!
I've noticed a definite improvement in VR on my PS5 Pro just the last few days. The tearing has disappeared (in the half-dozen or so cars I've tried), the HUD seems sharper, the dash instruments are definitely sharper, and overall sharpness has improved. Would PD have patched without notifying us?
As far as HUD placement goes, I agree. Related to this is driver position; more often than not I have to reset to further away. I feel the driver is too close to the steering wheel.
Nice video @deacondoo 👍👍.. Also 1 thing after the fact but if they could just have the actual dashboard information correct like ACC that'd be 🔥 alot of information on dashboard isn't accurate/never changes....
Good point! I don't have a ton of experience with ACC, so I didn't even think of that.
