gone are days when you can carry extra batteries in your pocket. 8 years past me would be laughing if I had to go through so much just to change the battery.
Thanks for the tutorial! The X3 by far lasted me the longest out of all the phones I had. But my goodness its battery was also the most troublesome to replace
After 3 years of usage, my cover was already bloated. That shows that I need to change the battery. Sure enough, after I managed to open up the back cover the battery was bloated. Thanks to your video guidance, I changed it to a new battery. The rubber band idea was good because I don't have a clamp like yours to clamp the back cover after applying the glue. Anyway I got a new POCO F6 PRO 16GB 1TB version, so this Poco X3 NFC will be my spare phone.
You didn't mention that you need to poke out those cameras and I was wondering what was holding that piece but at the end I figured it out . Apart from that good video.
thanks for the video i have two questions 1. how to make sure removing camera lenses guard doesn't make the lenses dirty and affect photos quality? 2. what kind of glue you use when you reinstall the back cover? thank you again
@Geardo the screw you have directly under the camera lens, did you need to remove an orange 'mi' cap above it first? That's all I see for mine and no idea how to get off
Hi! I got some questions and I hope you could answer these: 1. Can you operate this without a heating device? 2. Without a glue.. (what's the odds w/ and w/o it?) 3. What's the proper way with the newly replaced battery? (Should it be more hours than full charge for 1st cycle? like 5-12 hrs even already full?) 4. How many cycles before the common/usual charge apply? 5. Will charging with fast charge affect first time use with its calibration or it doesnt matter? I knew it should be lesser than 20% and not more than 80% at most anyway after the calibration so I hope you could comprehend with the questions.
1. Can you operate this without a heating device? - Well You will Need One ( Otherwise you might end up breaking the back cover) 2. Without a glue.. (what's the odds w/ and w/o it?) - (need glue or adhesive to paste the back cover back) 3. What's the proper way with the newly replaced battery? (Should it be more hours than full charge for 1st cycle? like 5-12 hrs even already full?) - Give a full charge. 4. How many cycles before the common/usual charge apply? it all depend on how you use the phone 5. Will charging with fast charge affect first time use with its calibration or it doesnt matter? First you need to find a good battery that supports fast charging. Like an Original one. Most copies won't work well and have heating issues..
Hello, sorry, I saw the video and you explain very well, brother, thanks for helping me, but I have a question if I can't find the original battery, putting an official one will affect the cell phone or I run the risk that the N battery(New and unofficial) I don't know about hot or that kind of thing?
Hi I have used my poco x3 nfc since i bought it the day it got available it the stores. Recently i noticed a very slight inflation, i don't know if the battery is getting bloated or it is the normal curvature of the back of the phone. Is there any way to make sure my battery is ok? Thanks in advance
I Have a Poco X3 Pro, as i saw, the battery for that modelo is the BN57, can i use the BN61 on my Poco X3 Pro? I Asked because the BN61 have more Battery Capacity and it looks like the same connector and size
Hello sir, Can i use poco x3 pro or poco x3 Indian(6000mah)battery on my Poco x3 NFC Coz it's Same model BN57 X3 and X3 pro i think. It's have any mobo issue after long term use?
Is the Bn61 6000mhp battery compatible with Poco X3? And most important.. is it really worth? Or is better new phone straight away? I have read people complaining about new battery installation. Thanks for answering
Hello good day to you. My phone is Xiaomi poco x3 NFC And base on your video my battery model is BN57. Now my question is, If its okay if I'm going to choose BN61 Is it the same size?
Changing the battery itself is not that difficult, but this idea of re-gluing the cover is terrible. Why did they do it? I would like to see the fasteners as usual.
First try a different cable, adapter and power outlet.. and also you can check the device is detecting in a PC or not.. if it is still not, then you can go for a new charging port to start..
I recently got my battery replaced in my poco x3 nfc. There is an issue with charging. When i plug it in it does not show decimal value of charging instead just shows a 2 digit number. Can any one tell me what is the issue here because before battery replacement the phone showed a value like 88.49% now it just shows a value 88 when I plug it in.

Hey, thank you for that very nice and clear video! Can you tell me, why asian repair shops (mostly locals) won't change the battery of an European bought smartphone like the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC you showed in your video? My phone battery died and got faulty, I was in Asia, Vietnam and even the MI Store told me that they can't change the battery, I would need to talk to the internet store in Europe where I bought it. That doesn't make sense, because now I bought the battery on shopee and installed it myself, and see, it works again. Would be nice if you could answer! Thanks! :)
Most probably they do not sell particular poco brand or model in there (mi store), but regular repair should be able to do if they have the part. There is no reason other than that.
@@DIYGeardo Thanks for your quick response! That makes sense but now I feel a little confused on how they treated me especially at the MI Store, but.. sometimes people are like that I guess. Keep up your nice work and all the informative videos! :))

Well you need to make sure there is no dust on top of the camera. Just clean it properly and for the back cover you can use b7000/t7000 glue
