Hi, I have a question, I recently got some silicone notes on Amazon ,that you place on your piano to identify the notes better, and as I was doing an exercise, my book called for a D but for the left hand so i go and check the note on the silicone note and the little black tail is up , but on my book its down so It should be a low D with my left hand? its the closest D to the left before middle C, I think they might have an error on several vendors , i checked their images and according to the placement I think it should have the tail down instead of up. Sorry for the craziness I dont know who to ask, and its really annoying, cause i wasn't sure if I was using the correct finger , any feedback about this is greatly appreciated. ty.
Sure! So first of all, tails don't matter the direction they are going. The general rule of thumb is the middle line. Tails should go up before the middle line or down above the middle line.... But it doesn't determine which D it would be. For the D below middle C, the note head should be on the third line up from the bottom. The left hand (bass clef) D just one note to the right of middle C would actually be above the bass clef staff. I always use middle C as a marker to figure out which note the music is calling for....i always ask my students "how close to middle C is that note?" Does that help?
well, actually is not, is just the way you say it in spanish so i looked it up and this is what I found on the web God is a promise Elisa means "God is a promise" or "God's promise." Elisa is a diminutive of Elisabeth, a form of Elizabeth, which traces back to the Greek name Elisabet, and further back to Hebrew name Elisheva. Elisheva is derived from the roots el, meaning "God" and shava, meaning "promise."
Awesome video!
Thanks,for the help,tha, was good,,

I took piano and never learned improv
I definitely add this as part of my lessons for my students so this doesn't happen!
