I love the texture. Texture really makes the page which is goog for me to know. So far my texture use has been rather timid....just a little bit, but here I see how useful it is. Thank you, Marta. Your coffee is getting cold!

I love watching your videos, you have shown in a short time of space that you can use anything around the house. You have created only what crafters can understand. You have a great husband who goes out with the intention he's buying wood glue and comes back with a whole lot of glues! Your little pet is so cute by the way! Thank goodness he never left you some more things around the house to use on this video! Lol. On a serious note you have taught me so much and l thank you for this and I am sure you will teach me more ideas. What you have created is so beautiful so l will definitely have a go at this. ❤

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video and this channel! Some of the thrifty techniques I've found through trial and error and super limited supplies are: you can use a fork to make lines/scrape marks in gesso or partly dried acrylic pain. Same for old mascara wands, scrubbing brushes, shower puffs... If you can stand the texture, ripping/fluffing up cotton wool pads can be super interesting. Untwisting twine or spring is great too. I also like to wrap string around something - a piece of card, paper, even my fingers - and pressing it into tacky paint is really interesting too, or using it like a stamp. Dipping or covering paper in water and then letting it dry all crinkly can lead to some really interesting textures as well. And my final favourite tip is if you have watercolours - even super cheap ones - is to sprinkle salt over them while they're wet!

I just watched your video, and it was like watching magic. Honestly. I could not stop watching because I just couldn't imagine how it would all fit together. With each layer I wondered how would that work. And how crazy is that to add and add weird bits. Such odd random items. Because I am not an artist and have not the gift, I was completely entranced when you added color and more color and then powder and pencil. What emerged was incredibly amazing! Magic! You inspire me to consider the idea of just experimenting with things I have already and practice and learn. Thank you for sharing your gift.

Marta, I've been watching your videos from beginning to end! I love them all and just want to thank you for all your work and the way you explain things and make it fun. I love the 'Breaking The Page' videos and I'm enjoying this set as well. I have finally started playing and I've broken two pages and now have two simple but pretty background pages. I have quite a few very nice products I've been collecting but I worry so much about wasting product that I just hated playing for fear that what I was creating wouldn't be pretty enough. Now, I'm just digging in and really playing and not worrying. Thanks so very much! You are AWESOME and I've shared your videos to Pinterest so others can enjoy and learn from you!

Wouldn't that cause the pages to stick together when the book closes? I use hairspray to set my charcoal art so I know what you mean. It is a great fixative. I just wonder how that would work with facing pages.

I just found your channel and this is the first I've watched. I find I love your art! For this page, I love the creativity & the final look of fantasy about your pages. The left page (especially) looks like you're walking out of the forest to see a cottage door appear (the ticket under the gesso combined with the charcoal pencil highlights). To the right of that, I see a birds nest in a low-hanging tree branch in your lace texture. This is lovely and looks like you could interpret it how you like, how you see it. Thank you for sharing & I will continue to watch.
