Kobe said when asked about Curry "I see a calmness that the average player doesn't understand. Now you take that calmness and add his skills to that and it's deadly". What respect on both sides

I don’t think the league has had a shooter like curry since larry bird. Different eras and very different styles but both are similar in how they can just drain shots that nobody else would make and the ability to keep their cool in clutch moments.

That man was a fan of basketball; He didn't only want to play well; he wanted competition. He wanted you at your best so that when he beat you, you knew it was because he was better.
There are plenty of basketball afficianados who would argue this was a similar tactic of Jordans'; however, where they differ, on the court, Kobe welcomed the challenge, to inspire him. MJ already hated you when he stepped on the floor; his whole game was not giving a damn about what you were doing, because it didn't matter. Look how he treated his teammates: "move the hell outta my way, and let me do it" 😭🤣😂 everybody knew it, and it still didn't matter, MJ did that thing

I got it. I got it. I got it and teammates said what, u figured out what, what do u got?, and Kobe said to make Steph shoot off or how you make him the most uncomfortable… you have to guard him from the side or come from the side is he shooting and that he likes it when people are heads up with him / in his face straight on going for the block & playing fundamentally good defense by putting a hand in his face & being all up in em as he shoots … Kobe said so you got to attack from the side to throw him off

What kills me is, he said he was gassed, but he pushed off of Kobe, and shot it over him. A guy who knew how to guard him. But he let Kevin Love in those same years guard him in the Finals on that one play? Hell nah! This is also why I thought the season before last that, that Curry was better. And he ends up destroying the Celtics in the Finals 😂😂.
Also when he passed people kept saying, "you're just showing fake love." I used to be a Kobe hater because my teams lost to him 2 different times😅. But I was a fan after about 2010. I stayed glued to the TV at work when he died. Wasn't anything fake about how we felt about him. He's all timer. You gotta respect that. 🙏🏿
