If you wonder what the endings mean:
In the best ending, Vanessa, who is being possessed by Glitchtrap as seen in Help Wanted, had the possession broke after beating the princess games. Vanessa then takes control again and leaves, realizing Gregory is the one who saved her and they live together since Gregory is homeless.
For the Rooftop:
Since Vanessa dies under possession, she is dead but her soul is stuck with the burnt down pizza plex forever, so it really is a bad ending for Vanessa.
Also for the best ending, Vanessa uses her skills to fix Freddy. (Basically how Vision revived Scott lang's head even though he turned into a zombie in "What If.." which still allowed him to speak).
It could be either that or Vanny and the Security guard are two different people, logically Vanny would be the princess in the quest but I dont know we need more proof

For those who don't know: princess quest basically explains of how Vanessa turned into vanny, she got lured by glitch trap making her his apprentice to hunt kids to revive afton, so yeah princess quest is just freeing vanessa from the control of springtrap
Its been 2 years since this uploaded and i have watched episode 1-8 just now it took me a few hours but its really sad and makes me wanna cry, that it has came to an end, its unfortunate that he didn't record a security breach ruin since its been 8 months from his last post. he never fails to make us laugh. For those who are confused about Vanessa/Vanny:
Vannessa (and her alter "Vanny" was under glitchtraps control and was stuck in the Princess Quest game, and by Gregory playing all the PQ games it helped vannessa break free from Glitchtraps control and disable the security bots before they harm gregory; in the rooftop ending when Vanny and freddy fall off the rooftop and Gregory unmasks Vanny who just died, her spirit is seen from the top of the building because she never fully escaped Glitchtraps control, and is now doomed to haunt the Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria

Im late as heck, but anybody else just find it so amazing to face your fears? (As someone who doesn't like horror games). I had been really struggling to watch horror games from any channel, but I got tired and finished this series and scrutinized, and with one of the best RUclipsrs to watch horror game playthroughs with.

The thing with the best ending and Princess Quest III is that Vanny is being controlled/possessed by Glitchtrap, so when you open the door, you're releasing her from that. They purposefully blur the lines between who Vanessa is and who Vanny is (because Vanny is really just a person who looks exactly like Vanessa, probably an identical twin, wearing a bunny suit, and Vanny disguises herself as Vanessa at multiple points throughout the story in an attempt to get Gregory). The reason Vanessa joins Gregory and Freddy in the best ending is because throughout the entire game, her goal was really to protect Gregory from Vanny. She just didn't know that what she did wasn't really helping.

When she got the key it was deeper inside the cave gregory went in where he kills glitchtrap. The big mass of black she sees at the end she hits with the sword of light

Rooftop ending explained:
So basically it showed Gregory unmasking Vanny, which is Vanessa, and when it pans over to her on the roof, it is her soul remnant or ghost of Vanessa showing how she is forever stuck at the location. Typical in the FNAF lore, her soul is forever trapped.

So basically, the theory is that the reason that Vanny, aka Venessa, was at the rooftop after she had fell off the building with Freddy in one of the endings, is because that Vanessa has two different identity entities that were built in digital codes that were powers given from William Aften, aka “the purple man”. The princess quest game has a story behind it. The purple man was known to have a power to lure children into a trap to become animatronics, which is why during the years there were more animatronics that were added to the video games as they developed. Venessa was one of the children who got lured into a trap by the purple man, and was chosen as one his favorites, Which is why she was given powers by him. if you remember in the game correctly, the security version Venessa, is more mature and grown, but vanny is in a bunny suit skipping, and acting like a child. The security version of Venessa tried to help Gregory get out of the place because she knew that the other identity of her, which was vanny, was given a goal by the purple man to capture Gregory and turn him into one of them, which is why the whole place was after Gregory. Freddy on the other hand, was the only animatronic that was designed to not to hurt children. This is because he was the only one who was not designed to hurt children after the place knew that there was a child on the loose. Freddy was the first one to know who Gregory actually was, and he had hope for him because he knew Gregory was good at engineering, which is why in one of the endings he was able to charge Freddy with electrical wires after escaping the place in a car. It’s also why he was able to fix Freddy and add new upgrades to him throughout the game.

She’s actually the person from help wanted where they used parts from Aftons old suit to make the game code which allowed him to escape hell and get into the game and take control of Vanessa to turn her into vanny

I figured out the meaning behind the Princess Quest ending, so basically the game before this Vanessa was the main character of five nights at freddys VR game, and glitchtrap was the main antagonist. From her experience in the other game with glitch trap caused her to split into two personalities one was glitch trap and the other was Vanessa. Glitchtrap started taking over most of her body which caused the character Vanny as the other personality, and the security guard is Vanessa. Which is two different personalities. In the Princess Quest ending it shows a girl walking around a place, and when she lights those pillars on one of those parts you noticed the character split into two. One was Vanessa the yellow one and the other was the purple one Glitchtrap, at the end of the mini game we hear a scream and turns out that scream was Vanessa escaping glitchtrap’s control and getting her body back and in the end when she escaped glitchtrap’s control for good she took Gregory and left with him.
I was thinking along those lines too but damn couldn't have said it better myself

Ooooh, that leaves room for theories, do you thing vanessa was related to Gregory in any way as to the reason she is so obsessed with him, can always find him, and knows his name. And that is why Gregory went to the pizza plex in the first place
The cd tapes show 2 people in therapy, where 1 is vanny and the other is we haven't figured out, it is likely that vanny and vannessa are 2 different people

In the game it shows Vanessa's last name initial as A. Since she was recommended as security you can assume she had family ties. Specifically family ties with the Afton family, which William Afton is glitch trap and has always been the one responsible for the disappearance/deaths of children. Playing the Princess Quest games you can clearly make out that Vanessa is the character in Princess Quest. We also see Purple-like glitch effects most likely in reference to Glitch Trap (William Afton) in Princess Quest. The fact that completing all of the Princess Quest games has an effect on reality, we can assume that the game was a form of Vanessa's essence or soul. The ending of Princes Quest is unclear. It could interpret as the final gate being Vanessa's soul escaping the game and getting back to reality, but the scream could suggest something else unexplainable. Either way it shows the result as the Vanny mask on the floor and Vanessa is normal again. Going to the "Real Ending", we see many animatronics believed to be corrupted by Glitch Traps virus. The area under the Mega Plex appears to be the original Freddy's Pizza Place in which William Afton died in the fire. As we see him come back in his Spring Trap form we can assume that his soul has been bound to the building all these years. Now, it was very easy to notice that Freddy seemed to have human-like emotions and traits unlike the other animatronics. Michael Afton (The son of William) had died as the previous night guard for the Fazbear industry. I believe that Michael Afton's soul was resurrected into Freddy and that was the reason for his malfunction during stage performance. All of which is supported by his line in "The Real Ending", "I am not myself". This confirms that even Freddy noticed the change in his mental state. This means that when Freddy was fighting back from being controlled in "The Real Ending", it was once again father versus son. Now I'm just gonna explain some of the little questions. One thing was wondering why Gregory was sleeping in a alley after he escaped. Early in the game you heard Vanessa tell Freddy that he wasn't in the database. This means that they couldn't find his parents and also meant that he had to have snuck into the Mega Plex. This means that Gregory was an orphan who probably just wanted a nice kid experience. I'd also like to touch on what Vanny actually is. It is pretty confusing to understand what Vanny is especially since she was unmasked in one of the endings with the face of Vanessa while a live Vanessa was on the roof peering down on the dead body. I really can't explain what is going on in that scene so I will just agree with what another guy said about this. He thinks that since "Vanny" died and Vanny was a mix of Vanessa and "Bunny", Vanessa's face under the mask is a resemblance of the soul forever being bound to that costume. This could mean that Vanessa is bound to the building as well which might be why she was still on the property even while it was burning. Maybe Bunny/Vanny/Vanessa is the antagonist of the next FNAF game. If we had more context on who Bunny is/was then we could probably finish the story. I guess that'll just have to wait for more story line to come with the next FNAF game. The last thing I'd like to discuss is that in all endings, Freddy is gone (Dies or Escapes). We saw on the news paper that he was replaced by Monty and a Hippo was added to the Big 4. I assume that's a sneak peak at one of the next antagonists.

I loved your RPG horrors Cory I watched misao and desert nightmares
So Cory the “Rooftop ending” requires you to play the VR game first because it contains lore that is needed to understand the ending.
But to clear it up the “best ending” helps clear it up, but essential Vanessa’s soul is trapped inside of princess quest, and Afton (springtrap) or Glitchtrap (fnaf VR) is in control of her (vanny) so when the place burns her soul is still trapped while her body is killed, it’s a play on how you need to play princess quest in order to free her from Aftons control.

For those confused at the rooftop ending, someone had a good theory on why Vanessa was on the top of the building after she fell off the roof. That wasn't her physically, it was her ghost. In that ending, you didn't free her from Afton's control, so her appearing in her security clothes was her innocent spirit, trapped at the location until she is freed, just like the other souls that were killed there

I was told that there was suppose to be a “Vanny Meter”. And if you stay in a location too long, she’d appear and instantly kill you. But the game was bugged out so bad that the meter just never showed up. However the mechanic still exists in the game, and that’s why Vanny’s appearance seems so random. (She wasn’t very present in Cory’s series, but others had the issue)

If you want to do more FNAF content, Cory, there's a new variant to this game called FNAF Security Breach Ruin. From what I've seen and heard, it goes off of the end of this game with a new character that is apparently friends with Gregory and trying to look for him.
No cap i feel when cory is gone we all be waiting and it feels like forever, but when he comes back it is the best feeling in the world. Its almost mandatory for this legend to take breaks because they are well worth the wait

Hey Cory. I did some digging around and apparently when you're riding with fully-upgraded Freddy, you could see these CDs located around the map. There was also a secret room in the basement area of the facility (can be seen and accessed with fully upgraded Freddy) where you had to use the FazCam camera to open a secret door. In that room, there was a CD player where you could play the recordings. I assume that's probably why they allowed you to see the collectibles after you already completed the game. Apparently, those CD's were recordings that contributed to the Vanny and Vanessa storyline. Just thought I should let you know. On another note, I wanted to thank you so much for being such an inspiration. Your videos always bring a smile to my face :)
