Those who are complaining about this being complicated have obviously not worked with patterns & they're even sometimes even more complicated instructions. 😅 This is better especially for those of us who have difficulty translated 2D to 3D. I had worked on a mask similar to this but I think I like your method of marking the folds & center of the mask better because if your working with something like a silk lining it moves around alot. But I like the feel of silk against the skin instead of cotton so hopefully this will work better🤞.
What is the surface by the sewing machine that you can use an iron on? I like that idea. Also, I like how you use a crochet hook to bring the elastic through the sides.
Love the iron and love how smooth the Juki sews! I’m looking for a new sewing machine and was leaning towards the Babylock but I’m going to research the Juki now
@@sitarael1556 I ended up getting the Juki F-600 and so far I love it. I’m sure the Babylock is just as nice. It was a hard decision but I am very happy 😊

Have switched to using aluminum foil disposable pans cutting the bottom in a small rectangle then repeatedly fold over 1/4” to layer thicker (3-4folds). I sew this into a fabric pocket to put inside. But would like to know what you use for your nose piece.
@@germainemarzen997 I've made my masks with a separate thin pocket for the wire. I leave one short end open and use jewelry wire that I bent into a row of loops (they look like lower case cursive E's). I take the wire out when I wash the masks, and can replace it with new when it wears out.

It’s not a crochet hook it’s a loop turner
It's an industrial machine with a formica work table buil around it.. a piece of kitchen worktop would suffice..

There are 2.54 cm in 1 inch. So just divide the cm she lists by 2.54.
