It’s not that the wall is bad. It’s great - if you’re making proof of life videos, asking for a ransom, stating your political ideologies… you know. Videos with a handheld VHS camcorder kind of stuff. But - content is still awesome!
Great video! New player here, I had no idea about these best of 1 options to consider in those situations. Please talk more about these type of situations new players may run into so we aren’t blindsided at our first events.
Great Pod! Congrats on both of your guy's successes on the weekend. I know, you could have always had more success, but still a great showing regardless. I too was on the fence on what to play until the very last minute and probably should have played Red Purple just for consistency sake and for a good red blue matchup! But I ran Amber steel through splits-ville with a 1-0-2 start into a nice 1-0-8 finish 😅🤣. (Handsome bricky draws, but that's the nature of the deck) Definitely appreciate how transparent Zan has been about all his thoughts and takes and kept everything out in the open and 1,000% respect and agree with the decision to keep his testing under wraps for the invitational! It was sweet hearing the stories about you guys running the same 75 to a 1st and 2nd finish in MTG. I was a strong MTG player but always played bad decks because I liked to brew and build so much. Big comedy fan, so I'll have to check out your stuff sometime Jeremy! Also, I'm a big fan of the wall! Almost as a big of a fan as people in red hats are of walls... But not quite 😝 Keep the pods coming!
Just to add to the 2game format, I went into the beginning of this season focusing on the benefits of 2game. Now that we are at the end of the season all I can remember is how punishing variance of match ups and mistakes are. I also know that if I 5-0-0 I will just be IDing the rest of the day and if I don't I will be playing best of 1. Both scenarios are much worse than all bo3 experience I have had in other tcgs.
Got to meet Zan in Seattle, sorry you weren’t feeling well man. I’m the dude that came up to you and complimented the blank wall set up. Great pod today.
Great pod guys, I agree with the decision to play red/blue if you felt more comfortable with the deck. The confidence will translate to playing better throughout the tournament. Side note, your advice helped my wife and I top 4 our set championship recently. Love from Australia.
Great podcast as always. One thing I wish zan had talked about was his knockout match against I think red purple? What happened there? I know you weren’t feeling well but would have loved more details. Either way great job!
maybe the early best if ones played because they were trying to get 30 points the later rounds they already have 30 points so that may be why some played
This is becoming a must watch show in Lorcana. Great stuff gents.
I like the blank wall, it’s hillarious

Such a great podcast, it’s come a long way from pixelborn days
Oh man, Jeremy, we had the same tournament it's looking like.
zan its zan the blue red kid. congrats on top 32!!!

I also didnt know what I was playing till I got to the airport Friday…. I was freaking out lol. But we got there.
Why would Zan give a speech to his opponent that only gives them the upper hand if they can decide to stick to a BO2 anyway? I'm note sure I get it
I finished 68th bubbled out at 45 points 9 out if 16 made it at I was part of the 7 that didn’t. Was on Amber/steel song Sven. Was a fun tournament
I feel red blue is cooked, u can 2-0 some but others u have to get lucky to get 1-1, either poor player opponent or if they get bad draws
I feel ya Zan it was rough for me too haha
bro i was sipping dayquil all weekended
Oof maybe you got e. coli from the bad onions.
I had the same issue when n round 9. I had to 2-0 to make day 2….
Why is the camera 50 yards away?
I literally went into time 4 rounds in a row in blue red mirrors 🙄
Oh it’s the former best 💚🩶 player 😆
Jk jk you rock 🩶💚
