Every time I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes because yes I live on this earth but this is not my home, this is not where I belong. Heaven is where I belong and one day I will go there to be with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will be here on earth for a short time but when I finally reach Heaven I will be Home forever. If your not sure where your home will be one day you can know. Jesus said I AM the way, the truth, and the life no man cometh unto the Father but by me. Jesus saves and no one else. YOU MUST GO THROUGH JESUS or you will never make it Home. AMEN GOD BLESS.
When I was young and heard my mother express her longing to go to heaven, I couldn't understand why she wanted to leave us and felt hurt. Now, many years later, I find myself longing for the same thing. I have a matured perspective and know I am only passing through. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to belong to You.

In those moments of grief, my heart was greatly comforted because I knew my friend had gone home to be with the Lord, just where he belongs..

When I heard it I just thought about my mom and all of the suffering that she is going through. I know that her time on Earth is numbered and I am not sure when she is going to be going home to be with the Lord. I have downloaded this song into a file for her that will be played at her funeral when the time comes.
