Love this song----a simple rose goes a long ways in a marriage that may not be good. Most Christian women don't care about things as much as a real love for them. This song just says it all!!! Just know that you are loved is everything!!!! Just as it is from Jesus and God!!!!!
My husband and I had 52 1/2 yrs together. He always open my door. Did all the little things. I did the same for him. More important, we prayed together everyday. God was first in our lives. He then blessed our marriage. Loved this video!
That's so special, and so true. My husband has gone on to glory, and I long for the day I will see him again. We loved, but the one thing missing was that we forgot to do the little things, that are the glue that holds together all the major events, and I would that we hadn't been so busy that we missed so much of the little pleasures that we might have had. When it's over, it's over and the memories are all that we have left. Thanks, Michael for sharing that, it was beautiful.
Celebrating 50 years together, thanking GOD for every TODAY God blesses and gives us, because LOVE is not a feeling--it's a choice, and being together no matter what is what GOD intended for marriage and is what we shared with wedding vows. My Dad died 5-8-1956 at 41 in a car/train crash so my Parents did not have many years together, but they had FAITH & trust in GOD and as a young Widow she raised their 4 kids alone with help from no one. Thankful we will see them again when we go HOME to Heaven and the New Earth (Titus 1:2, Acts 16:31 KJV). LOVE the Booth brothers and their music.
We have been married for 63 years .God has certainly blessed us with a rich heritage and we continue to serve him today. seven children, fourteen grans, and four greatgrans ."Thank you Booth Brothers"..
Remember when I told you l wanted you to walk me down the aisle to meet Jesus? After one of the concerts we were talking and you said, "Let's go for a walk." I was so focused on whatever we were talking about that I didn't realize you had walked me down the aisle. That's what women really want Michael. Flowers die but something like that lasts for eternity!
Beautiful, just beautiful! May The Lord Bless you, (each of you) your marriages and your families!!! I know the road can be hard sometimes but Our Lord and His Ministry is so worth it!!!
I love this song and now that the love of my life is gone I wish that we would have heard this song and had done the little things in life. It's been over 4 years and I miss him more every day.♡
I think men needs to understand the importance of this message, and I agree with Michael, he said love is not a feeling, it's a choice, and it's a principle. And you are so right, if the focus is on Christ he will keep your marriage together. God bless you and your family.
Bless his heart. His heart was burdened for others marriages. THAT is how it should be.....we should always stand in the gap for those struggling in areas we have already passed through...encourage them....share OUR testimonies with them.....We are encouragement to those who are watching to see how OTHERS went through it. =) They NEED to know...they are not the only ones who struggle with it...others have...and others have made it through....so you can as well! =) Amen!!
Lyrics He works hard to give her all he thinks she wants A three car garage, her own credit cards He pulls in late to wake her up with a kiss good night If he could only read her mind, she'd say: Buy me a rose, call me from work Open a door for me, what would it hurt Show me you love me by the look in your eyes These are the little things I need the most in my life Now the days have grown to years of feeling all alone And she can't help but wonder what she's doing wrong Cause lately she'd try anything to turn his head Would it make a difference if she said: Buy me a rose, call me from work Open a door for me, what would it hurt Show me you love me by the look in your eyes These are the little things I need the most in my life And the more that he lives the less that he tries To show her the love that he holds inside And the more that she gives the more that he sees This is a story of you and me So I bought you a rose on the way home from work To open the door to a heart that I hurt And I hope you notice this look in my eyes Cause I'm gonna make things right For the rest of your life I'm gonna hold you tonight Do all those little things For the rest of your life.

What a sweet man.
beautiful song.
Love is really a choice... He chose the cross as an example for us to follow " in his steps"
Lyrics
He works hard to give her all he thinks she wants
A three car garage, her own credit cards
He pulls in late to wake her up with a kiss good night
If he could only read her mind, she'd say:
Buy me a rose, call me from work
Open a door for me, what would it hurt
Show me you love me by the look in your eyes
These are the little things I need the most in my life
Now the days have grown to years of feeling all alone
And she can't help but wonder what she's doing wrong
Cause lately she'd try anything to turn his head
Would it make a difference if she said:
Buy me a rose, call me from work
Open a door for me, what would it hurt
Show me you love me by the look in your eyes
These are the little things I need the most in my life
And the more that he lives the less that he tries
To show her the love that he holds inside
And the more that she gives the more that he sees
This is a story of you and me
So I bought you a rose on the way home from work
To open the door to a heart that I hurt
And I hope you notice this look in my eyes
Cause I'm gonna make things right
For the rest of your life
I'm gonna hold you tonight
Do all those little things
For the rest of your life.
Fantastic wonderful praise god so sweet
