Love the 5min videos. Subscribed to a few brew channels and I struggle to commit to watching a 20min plus brew video. Quick and informative. Great watching. Cheers
Love a Belgian wit from time to time. Just recently brewed one with Szechuan peppercorns instead of coriander seeds which boosted the fresh citrusy notes. It was fantastic! Great video once again!
Witbier in the summer, amazing! Are you brewing any oktoberfest beer soon? i imagine they should start lagering soon? Also what are your thoughts on differences between the SS brewtech conical vs bucket for 7 gallons? Both have heating/cooling add-ons, the conical could harvest yeast, but would be more difficult to clean and a lot more expensive?
I am just starting the planning process for my Oktoberfest beers, but I have pretty quick turnover for my beers. So only a couple of weeks “Lagering” for me, and usually that’s just in the kegs! I think the bucket is pretty versatile for the money, mine does a great job at temp control. Plus gathering yeast usually isn’t too difficult after I transfer out the beer (I usually just pour the slurry into a sanitized mason jar). I think if I was up for spending big money on a fermenter, I’d spend a bit more for something that can ferment under pressure like the unitank. Although recently I’ve been fermenting great lagers under pressure in a keg at room temperature, so I’d be tempted to recommend trying that out if you have a kegging setup and haven’t already!
@@5minutebrewery I see, the bucket can't ferment under pressure but the conical can? Yes, I am contemplating on just getting two kegs, one for fermenting and one for serving. Maybe later get a fridge to control cold side temp, but that wouldn't really let me get to the warmer temperatures.
@@DualBalloon I believe (For SS Brewtech stuff) the “Chronical” can not do pressure fermenting. The Unitank can, but again comes with a price bump. I think that’s a good place to start! Makes for easier transfers, and the ability to ferment under pressure. Plus you can always add a heating wrap for warmer ferm temps!

Love the use of fresh orange 🍻🍻🍻
Short, concise content. Love it!
Definitely trying this recipe. Sweet shirt, too! South Main is only about an hour away from me.
I thought you wanted to double the gypsum to chloride not the other way around. Did I mess up?
Excellent, the struggles made it this much more delicious. And yes, sharing is caring! Cheers to another great brew.
I think so, struggles By Volume (SBV) was definitely higher on this one, but it indeed made it better in the end! Cheers 🍻
Thanks for the video. Where did you find that beer glass at the opening of the vid?
It’s kind of a tulip shaped pint glass, I think I got that one from Riverwatch Brewing, which actually just closed down a few weeks ago :(
