- In this episode I am given some lovely fabric masks by @zialucy, made by Giovanna from @LuisaPositano. I tell you all about our dog Holly and how we got her (using some OLD FOOTAGE from 3 years ago).
And then I fall asleep in the garden and somehow end up in Capri!

This is the best episode ever. As a dog owner this warms my heart. Holly clearly loves you and she is cute as a button. They have the ability to take up a lot of space in our hearts, don’t they? Could not imagine a life without mine. She chose you.

Oh Nicki I absolutely loved this vlog, it really cheered me up so thank you. I love Holly as her antics and personality reminds me of our cavalier king Charles Tilly who we lost nearly 5 years ago. @@NickiPositano I love the Amalfi coast. I went on holiday to Vico Equemse many years ago when I was in my mid teens with my late Mother and Father. They had stayed on the Amalfi coast for their honeymoon. I am sure I left part me there as I love Italy but especially that part. x

I just started watching your channel recently and this is my favorite one of your videos yet. The story of Holly. oh how I love an animal story with a happy ending! She’s always smiling. I’ve never seen a dog smile so much. Your dog and cat are livin the life. My cats are watching them with me. If my father was still with us, he would love your videos too. He was Italian and always wanted to see Italy. Glad you have lots of videos to watch. I have been telling everyone about them. Very relaxing 😎

My husband & I have been to Capri and we spent our 11th anniversary dining at Ristorante Michelangelo. We had a delicious meal and were spoilt by Holly & Gianluca with a lovely dessert! Great memories... can’t wait to return.

I think your dog might be a “docker” like ours-a mix between a cocker spaniel and a dachshund. Ours looks less like a dachshund in the face but his body is long with short legs and wavy hair, like Holly. Except that his coat is black, they could be twins! He loves walks and loves others animals. I love watching him walk around with such exuberance and his tail is a direct sign of how he is feeling!

Love this Video Nicki! The dream sequence was great. I’ve been to Capri once in 2005 and fell in love with it ! I will be sure to visit your friends restaurant when I go again. I love Holly she is so cute! I love when her and kitty wait for you on the stairs. My dog Ruby a Pomeranian was brought in to the local shelter as a stray she was missing a lot of fur and was in bad shape. Now she’s the fluffiest puppy ever! My 16 year old son is similar to Skye very musically inclined. I think it’s been hard on the teenagers to not see their friends and teachers. Glad everyone is doing well. I travel every year from my home in the Pacific Northwest, Washington State, US. Last fall I spent a month in Puglia, Lecce, Monopoli, Matera and Bari. I've visited Italy for last 20 yrs. from the north to the very tip, S.Maria di Leuca and Tropea on west coast. Watched volcano on Stromboli erupt. In 2002 I sat at a table across from Gore Vidal at an amazing cliffside restaurant in Ravello. So...I just really wanted to let you know how much I appreciate what you are doing. It means a lot to many Italia lovers all over the world. 💕

Loved the Capri segment; very sweet - and, to see it so deserted is distressing and wistful. I was there in October - and, last May - and the only times I could see and wander the heart of the village with very few people was when I took very early morning walks each day from Via Tragara. I have eaten often at your friends' restaurant, bought their olive oil and will put in an order for their Falanghina (that is a nice offer they have right now on products!) - I hope to back next late Spring and I hope all the businesses will survive and thrive once again. Thanks for such a treat - Capri has been a favorite of mine since I was 17 years old when I discovered just how special it is.

What a lovely video, I loved hearing Hollies story. The Loquat tree is what we call a Nispero tree here in Spain, I’ve got a couple of them, along with yellow plum, apricot, red plum, olives and almonds, apple. Sadly lemon or orange trees don’t survive here as we are too high up and don’t have any sheltered area for them over winter xx
That was so much fun! I needed a bit of a change to your pre-Covid habit of taking us along to the achingly beautiful sites that normally were and soon (praying) will be again a part of your dreamy everyday lifestyle in Positano. Auguri!
You’re getting so good at this, Nicki. I only spent a day over at Capri (07/2012) with lunch at de Gioia on the beach. The plan was to stay a couple of days and shop, but that didn’t happen. When the mess this world is in is cleaned up, I will return and do it MY way 😉

I must tell you that when you showed the loguat tree it brought back to me wonderful memories of, coming home from primary school and climbing my Grandmother's loguats trees, mind you I would get myself in lot's of trouble, for climbing trees in my school uniform 😊. We were fortunate enough to spend the summer in Italy and Sicily where my family is from until mid September. As a result we are able to savour and cherish these recent, most precious memories while we are all required to remain in isolation from the rest of the world for now and for the well being and benefit of us all!
