  • Get around texture tiling and repetitions in Redshift with Tile Breaker! It’s a node asset I created to help with breaking the tiling patterns!

    Hi Man! I have one question is it possible changing the type of projection stpace of the voronoi noise ? it thing that by default is in 3d space like normal maxon noise is.

    I'm using the stock "Metal Brushed 001" RS texture that came with my Cinema 2024.2.0. I have not found a way to rotate the brush pattern direction when this texture is placed inside of an alpha channel logo texture map. The "Metal Brushed 001" texture uses "TriPlanar" node to modify the Base Color, Roughness, Anisotropy, and Normal nodes. Will your Tile Breaker node solve my problem? Thanks for your work on this!!!!!!

      Hi! I have not thought of this use case. maybe you can try take the Rotate output of my Tile Breaker node and put into the rotation input for all the triplanar nodes. see if that helps?

      I figured it out. You have to Rotate (and in my case Scale) every texture Node independent of the alpha texture Node@@VDOFX_SG I found it best to leave the scaling of the texture tag on the object alone.

      Yeah, i heard about it. Surprising how Redshift still hasn't made their own version of this. So this is my solution for now.

    hello, I bought it, and when I put the node in my 2024 scene, it crash and it finaly appear as an empty group node

      hi! thanks for your support. unfortunate to hear that you have this issue. i'm not sure if the latest update of C4D may have cause some issues with the node group as I dont have much feedback from other users. can i check if you have the same issue with the free version too?
