- A Compilation of clips whilst fishing the SKERRIES and the SHAMBLES BANKS.
TURBOT FISHING is very rewarding when you achieve target. Hunting Turbot early in the year is a great challenge we set our selves, this time of year the fishing is slow all over but surprisingly we had the first turbot show from January onwards. we were either fishing aboard Jason Gillespie's boat BLUE on the shambles in DORSET or on my boat GADGET down the skerries in DEVON. I've been using Teign Baits eels and fish baits with good results.
Im Trying to not have too much talking in my videos and show more action! These clips are from the end of last year and the first trip of this year.you can get quite a mixed list of species when fishing the banks from BASS PLAICE GURNARD SMALL EYE RAY THORNBACKS and obviously TURBOT I apologise for any wind noise and bad zoomed in video clips, I really did my best to make the most of them. portrait mode on a phone is an absolute nightmare!

How deep is the Skerries bank?
@@Marcus72ful on the shallow end it can be 3-4m then to the deep end 40-45m
what speed drift are you roughly looking for when drifting the sand banks?
@@ed3010 preferred drift speed would be around 1 knot 2 knots is just too fast for me

No idea what you might have said, the video was great, production was great, music was absolute crap, ruined it I had to mute it.
Thanks, im a bit of a novice with all this editing stuff. I had to insert music where the wind noise was bad. Im still learning thanks again
