I studied 2 years and a half in Tarim and these were the most blessed days of my life. I encourage everyoone who can go to not miss this blessed opportunitiy
There he is! Ive been missing Shaykh Penfound. For many months he hasn't uploaded any videos. Im so glad to see him back ALHAMDULILAH!
I've attended both the 2022 and 2023 Dowra, and they were both incredible journeys. This is something i encourage almost every Muslim to go attend at least once, even if only for two weeks, to get a real sense of what an authentic traditional Islam taught by the scholars who are deeply rooted in our faith.
Do they deliver courses in English or fo you need to learn Arabic?
@@duskfawn9294 You don't need any Arabic. Most of your classes will be in Arabic but there will always be a English translator translating his words. You always have guides with you to help translate whether you go to the shops or class. The Dowra is catered for International non-Arabic speaking students.
Can women go???
Yes from what I know.
Salam alaykum brother could i get in contact with you to get more insights about the dowra.

I feel sorry as a woman , that there is no chance that I can go and learn like them
It’s open to women as it’s open to men
Daar Zahra is the women's centre in Tarim which offers many courses and classes all year round, taught by female scholars and teachers. The Dowrah also offers classes for women.
There are women that attend the Dowra program every year. The women study at the Dar al-Zahra centre. Please contact the Dowra team if you want to attend, they have a wonderful team of people to help. May Allah bless you and make it easy for you.
