    I’m the type where shape is king, weight doesn’t matter to me, rgb no rgb doesn’t matter to me, wired or wireless doesn’t matter to me. Just good specs and shape. I’ve tried every top mouse out there from zowie, razer, Logitech, glorious and what not. And this cobra is actually so fire to me so I guess the mouse is made for me LOL I didn’t ask for it but I got it and I love it

    Your guess 5:45 is pretty spot on. Razer made this mouse to stock on at the behest of retailers, who did not want a Razer Viper Mini wireless. That's why the Viper Mini Signature Edition is a Razer webstore exclusive.

    • @xblur17
      @xblur17 Год назад +1

      No, it's because the RVM SE is very difficult to make and they produce it in small quantities, and it's also an enthusiast mouse at almost $300 that no normal sane person would buy. A regular RVM Pro at $149 would sell very well in retail.

I liked the o- from glorious the most as far as the shape goes but weight wise I prefer medium weight like the g303 and g703 from logitech. I was on the deathadder v3 and was absolutely hating the new deathadder shape and the poor build quality so when I saw the cobra pro leak I was hyped and got it as soon as it came out with the pro dock. Everyone wants to call it an L but some people can't play well with very light weight mice with poor build quality.

  • @Maddog-xc2zv
    @Maddog-xc2zv 10 месяцев назад +1

    take out the rgb, take out the docking charge option and you have a pretty good mouse. the weight would surely drop significantly, the mouse performs top tier due to the said (in video) internals. I have the mouse and love it, it performs great, but I'm 100% with you rgb was the dumbest move razer made with this mouse, not only because the pro aesthetics (the mouse is called "pro") but also the additional and really not wanted weight that comes with it. also it's a dumb solution for a pro mice to be charged in a dock... The price of the mice is intended for pros, the rgb and charging system is intended to rgb lovers and to those who search a mid-range/tier mouse - not what they get at this price, although many will find the mouse surprising because of its performance (focus 30dpi, optical switches, top notch tech). What was razer thinking? I guess this was meant to replace the viper mini in a pro signature but razer tried to please all in a niche of niches, and they ended pleasing almost no one, it backfired ugly. Pros were mad (rgb, weight, pre installed rubber side grips), not pros were also mad (overpriced for a niche I don't even understand if exists, due to specs like the sensor and switches which overpriced this hybrid mouse). Razer, in general, absolute failure. And I do think razer makes the best mice at the present time, as logitech is still on the 20th century with their shells (they launched recently the hero 2 or I would had sensors and also switches which they went with a combination of optical + mechanic), benq are also outdated and expensive, leaving some space for good surprises like some lines of lamzu, vaxee, endgame gear and few, few others. Cheers.

    As much as a disappointment this mouse is for FPS players, this review hit it in all the wrong places.

      Can you please inform me on the customer for this product, over the rest of their own line of mice. I haven't been able to figure this out since the drop of the mouse. It's the most confusing mouse to be released for a long time. Basilisk owners won't buy it, fps players are pissed off with it, viper ultimate is an easy recommend over it for the price, even with a charging dock. I don't know who pays this money for this mouse?

      @scotty_teee4226 Viper ultimate is outdated, and isn't sold by Razer anymore. Its literally the average person who will buy this. One who values RGB and other add ons and perhaps isn't too researched into mice. You're acting like we make up the majority of the mice market. Lol, don't be daft.

      @klaidasrunele the viper ultimate is still available, is it not? Who is paying double for this mouse, over the ultimate? Considering that it looks like the same mouse, to the average consumer. I know it's not for the fps players but I still don't see where it fits with the average consumer either

      @scotty_teee4226 A lot of people lol. Why do people buy this years laptops over last years despite them almost being identical? Silly take. Doesn't matter. The mouse is objectively and upgrade (bar weight but most people don't care anyways), despite it not really making much of a difference in terms on in game performance. There will be those who buy one or the other but viper ultimate stock will run out eventually anyways.

    Its sad because im a big fan of the feature packed basilisk v3 pro so if they made a cobra pro with a sniper button and a more balanced weight i wouldve been the first one to buy it

    Razer Cobra Pro is boring to me.

    It seems strange to me that they put so much personal feeling in the face of their disappointment with this mouse because their expectations were different.
    1. 75-90g is not a negative in a mouse, many of us like that weight range.
    2. Light zones is something that many of us miss, don't you see that there are PC hardware with RGB and WITHOUT RGB? This mouse is something like that, it's our option, if you don't like it, it doesn't mean it's something negative. OPTIONS its a positive.
    3. I love hearing that RandomFrankp and a couple of other youtubers said that there is really nothing wrong with the performance of this mouse, it means that it is a good mouse itself!.
    4. I really love RAZER its giving you the option of different bundles, because guess what, most of us don't care about 4k poling rate, or a special dock. OPTIONS, again, are AWESOME.
    5. the shape, materials, its wireless, nice software, RGB, great sensor. No, RAZER its not going backwards because you guys wanted the mini-viper, its a great mouse dudes. chill!!

    Seriously, please everyone that hates this thing, send me yours! I seem to be the only person on this planet who has a grip style that matches this mouse /shrug. Granted, that doesn't make it a great mouse, but MAN it's a great mouse for me :D
