I became an Adventist because of this sweet man and one of the things about Pastor Veith that meant so much to me was his enduring faith during he and Sonica’s times of immense persecution. I became an SDA at the age of 48 and I am now 50. I was stuck in a Christianity that I couldn’t reconcile until I was presented with the Truth, and then it all made sense. This was a BEAUTIFUL program and I personally identify with much of it. We serve a precious savior who has provided us with a wonderful, albeit imperfect, church in which I have applied a ‘pot of glue to my posterior’ to quote our beloved Prof! I am tearing up as I write these words. God is so good. Praise the name of Jesus!

I pray the same for my children & have total faith that it will be so in Gods timing. We have to give our children free will as god has given us and they will come back & your faith & prayers will be working for their good. Just know you have asked God and he gives us the innermost wishes of our hearts desires but we must have faith & believe that he will like the mustard seed. I believe also sometimes that they have to experience the world to know the truth and fully believe and come back to God of their own accord with a desire to never go back into the world and experience that again. I will pray for your children and I think you pray for my close prayers love with that up even more when two or more come together in prayer. What an encouraging message. I have a son in the world and I admit to becoming discouraged in praying for him at times. But God is faithful and hears our prayers. May all our children be saved for Jesus.
I have the same situation. My son use to be a godly young man, but then he went to college and somehow lost his way. Today he tells me he is an agnostic and he lies so much I can’t believe anything he says. I will remember your son in my prayers when I pray for mine.🙏
Not all stories have happy endings. I grew up Catholic and met my husband to be who was a nominal SDA. He smoked and drank, but after we married he quit and we started to attend his church. I converted very easily to his religion but I didn't understand what I was converting to. After just a few months of marriage, I wanted out. He was a lot older than me and I didn't understand his ways, especially the way he always flirted with other women. Before I could leave him, I became pregnant with my firstborn son and 6 months later, I became pregnant again with his brother. Life was hell with this man, yet we attended church services every Sabbath. It all became a matter of rote and our lives became surreal. We eventually divorced and he remarried soon after. I dedicated both of my babies to the Lord, but like the story of the prodigal son, it has played out in real life for me. My oldest remains an SDA while my youngest left the church and is now an Agnostic. My ex ate himself to death and passed away from heart disease. I have never remarried and now I know what the SDA religion is all about and have embraced it with all of my heart. I continue to pray for my children and hopefully, I will see them both on that first resurrection morning when all of the sadness, disappointments, and challenges of this life will no longer be remembered.

This program brought tears to my eyes.... I know one thing, that the enemy of humanity attacks the faithful workers of God through their families. But it's true, we can't save anyone, no matter how much we love them and cared for them. But our Lord has ways and in His time He will act, but also we ought to remember that God has given us freedom of choice. We should continue praying for our loved ones. I was one…My Parents converted from Catholicism to Adventism when I was 10 (2 older siblings 15,16…. 1 younger, age 6). I was gone from age 15-23, inebriated as you mentioned you were, my mom was even sick when pregnant with me… eventually diagnosed with MS), met my “Adventist” boyfriend at age 16… my husband of 33 years today). I got convicted, converted, and baptized at age 23 (only child of my parents in the faith today). At the age of 35 my son came into this world. Robert, you told my story…. My son is now 18, 6 weeks from turning 19. Thank you Robert for your Testimony. Thank you Walter for your steadfastness. Jesus loves us so much! ❤ Isaiah 49:25. 🙏🙏🙏
That was sincere, brave of both of you, and much needed for parents and grandparents like us who are still praying for our children to come to Christ. I was always a believer, but never walked with God, then I heard about the SDA and had it my Mind that the SDA might be the way, I then started watching Walter Veiths videos and now I regularly attend church on the Sabbath and work with the homeless, I still struggle with keeping the Commandments but I try. my one goal is to sit at the feet of the Lord. I pray the Lord see's my struggle and gives me the strength to get to the Kindom Amen
It is with tears that I watch this video as I am in a similar situation with my whole family. My father was an SDA and he gifted me a beautiful leather bound KJV Bible. I was baptized a SDA early in my life, left the church, got married and then started reading the Bible later in my life. I now keep the Sabbath as good as possible and constantly read my Bible but my family has no interest in what I believe even as I witness every Sabbath to them. With my dad gone I feel very alone but know that God is very patient and powerful and with the whole world against me, I am in the majority with Him. Wow! It's unbelievable. God has given me these very verses about 3 years ago, and another one in John 10: 28-29. Since then I've been claiming them for my two sons and their families, especially for the eldest who doesn't have anything to see with the word of God anymore! Please pray for them. I have So much to say that it can't all be included here, but Robert's Testimony mirrors my own as I am just a bit older, and Walter has been my Spiritual Dad for going on a decade now as his ministry pulled me out of total destruction after my own son was abducted some eight years ago. The road to that point, and the trials and tribulations since then have compiled an extensive testimony of God's work in my life. Being the fruit of Walter's tree, in the sense of the vast knowledge and understanding that he has provided for me, he will always be my mentor and family. I feel like Robert is a brother that I have never had the privilege of meeting. I once almost fell away from my mentor when he said he wouldn't pray for a smoker, but God has helped me hold fast to the Truths that my mentor the good Professor has provided through the Truth of the Living WORD that has been provided to him. Robert's story resonated with mine.. I was never a "wild child" per se. On the contrary I was a outwardly a good child. But the rebellion & worldliness, I kept it to myself. & the worst things I did, I started doing on the same year that I was baptized, at 16 years old. Things only got worse as I went to live in a different city from my parents. All through it I was never far from church, but I was alone. I don't have friends from church. It wasn't anyone's fault, I was always an introvert that prefer to do things on my own. But I remember being a young person, far from home, going to a big church in an unfamiliar city, and no one greeted me. No one invited me to anything. No one implored me to stay back.. Sabbath after Sabbath I went to church and went home immediately after. & did whatever I want. I only truly returned to Christ around the age of 25. Truly, us who were born in the church, don't see the truth as valuable. We think it's valuable but in our lives, we just set the truth aside and do whatever we want. Truly, everyone has to search God for himself and herself. No one can snatch you and force you to meet the living God... I paid dearly for my sins but I'm glad God had pity on me.

Praise God who hears from heaven and stores our tears! I needed this message, and my heart is deeply encouraged. I was pregnant with our first born when my husband and I took a trip to Louisiana to hear Dr. Veith in person 19 years ago. He and his ministry team were so kind and friendly that my husband and I were happily surprised and felt lovingly accepted by these God fearing strangers who even invited us to visit with them and shared their meal with us. Our first born is curious and seeking the world's favor, and we are praying for her. This testimony came at a time when I was growing weary but God.... This message gave me further assurance that I am to continue to press in my prayers without doubt for the Lord will save her in His time as He ministers to her heart.❤

I can relate. My daughter was born when I was 27, things were going very bad for me and I decided to get back to Jesus so I could raise her in the fear of the Lord so she could make an informed decision for her salvation later on in life. It cost me my marriage. My wife did not grow up SDA as I did and the change in life style was difficult. After years of prayer and so many problems invovling my daughter and court, my job, and a host of other things, I now have peace of mind. I always say that if it wasn't for my daughter being born, I would not be back in the church nor would I be taking my prayer life seriously.
I'd this lesson is one Many parents have been longing for, we're not alone with our trials in our very close relationships with our deep LOVE for all our family, however the Children hits the mind emotional,the heart and especially the Spiritual Relationship with our Holy, Unfathomable Loving Saviour l Live in The Great Hope through the WORD of the Living God JESUS Christ. My wife and I listened to this last night and we were both very touched. We are raising a boy and a girl right now in their teens and our knees are also worn out lol. Praise God for the way He refuses to give up on His rebellious children Praise God for Walter and Sonika’s children returning to Him after their dalliances in the world! I also claim that promise that God says He will not let our children die! That is a conditional promise and my wife and I are doing everything we can to meet our side of that covenant Amen and happy Sabbath!.
Praise God, praise Jesus, praise the God-Head! Thank goodness we have the ability to repent thru Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to change our harts so we come into harmony with God. Roger Morneau emphasized how important intercessory prayer is. Not always do those we pray for repent, accept Jesus and biblical truth, but we can be assured that if we continue to pray for people, God will do His uttermost to save them. In the end they (the un-saved) will be shown by Jesus how many times they rejected the truth and how merciful God was in reaching out to them over and over and over again. Dear Walter, I'm so glad that God is working with your children, that none may be lost. Satan, in his rage against you preaching the truth, has tried to take your children. I listened to this wonderful testimony twice over..... Because I too have a wayward adult son. Upon reflection of the whole story I realized there was much talk about the need to return to the lifestyle ,the eating and drinking properly , and the keeping of the commandments properly but very little mention of "Christ and him crucified" and the marvelous work of the son of God for the salvation of sinners. Even though I know you thoroughly believe in the salvific work of Jesus and the mighty power brought to us by the Holy Spirit who alone can bring conviction of sin and righteousness and judgment to come. But first must come to us the choice to receive the gift of God his very only begotten son and his sacrifice with his own blood on the cross for us personally. When we receive him the Father's amazing love gift and the Son's willingness to shed his blood for our salvation..... Only then the Holy Spirit begins pointing out to us the right lifestyle the right path of righteousness etc. May Jesus be front and center for it is in beholding him that we are changed from glory to glory he will lead us on the path of righteousness for his name's sake. I pray the same for my children & have total faith that it will be so in Gods timing. We have to give our children free will as god has given us and they will come back & your faith & prayers will be working for their good.
Just know you have asked God and he gives us the innermost wishes of our hearts desires but we must have faith & believe that he will like the mustard seed.
I believe also sometimes that they have to experience the world to know the truth and fully believe and come back to God of their own accord with a desire to never go back into the world and experience that again.

Not all stories have happy endings. I grew up Catholic and met my husband to be who was a nominal SDA. He smoked and drank, but after we married he quit and we started to attend his church. I converted very easily to his religion but I didn't understand what I was converting to. After just a few months of marriage, I wanted out. He was a lot older than me and I didn't understand his ways, especially the way he always flirted with other women. Before I could leave him, I became pregnant with my firstborn son and 6 months later, I became pregnant again with his brother. Life was hell with this man, yet we attended church services every Sabbath. It all became a matter of rote and our lives became surreal. We eventually divorced and he remarried soon after. I dedicated both of my babies to the Lord, but like the story of the prodigal son, it has played out in real life for me. My oldest remains an SDA while my youngest left the church and is now an Agnostic. My ex ate himself to death and passed away from heart disease. I have never remarried and now I know what the SDA religion is all about and have embraced it with all of my heart. I continue to pray for my children and hopefully, I will see them both on that first resurrection morning when all of the sadness, disappointments, and challenges of this life will no longer be remembered.

I was one…My Parents converted from Catholicism to Adventism when I was 10 (2 older siblings 15,16…. 1 younger, age 6). I was gone from age 15-23, inebriated as you mentioned you were, my mom was even sick when pregnant with me… eventually diagnosed with MS), met my “Adventist” boyfriend at age 16… my husband of 33 years today). I got convicted, converted, and baptized at age 23 (only child of my parents in the faith today). At the age of 35 my son came into this world. Robert, you told my story…. My son is now 18, 6 weeks from turning 19. Thank you Robert for your Testimony. Thank you Walter for your steadfastness. Jesus loves us so much! ❤ Isaiah 49:25. 🙏🙏🙏

I was always a believer, but never walked with God, then I heard about the SDA and had it my Mind that the SDA might be the way, I then started watching Walter Veiths videos and now I regularly attend church on the Sabbath and work with the homeless, I still struggle with keeping the Commandments but I try. my one goal is to sit at the feet of the Lord. I pray the Lord see's my struggle and gives me the strength to get to the Kindom

It is with tears that I watch this video as I am in a similar situation with my whole family. My father was an SDA and he gifted me a beautiful leather bound KJV Bible. I was baptized a SDA early in my life, left the church, got married and then started reading the Bible later in my life. I now keep the Sabbath as good as possible and constantly read my Bible but my family has no interest in what I believe even as I witness every Sabbath to them. With my dad gone I feel very alone but know that God is very patient and powerful and with the whole world against me, I am in the majority with Him.

I have So much to say that it can't all be included here, but Robert's Testimony mirrors my own as I am just a bit older, and Walter has been my Spiritual Dad for going on a decade now as his ministry pulled me out of total destruction after my own son was abducted some eight years ago. The road to that point, and the trials and tribulations since then have compiled an extensive testimony of God's work in my life. Being the fruit of Walter's tree, in the sense of the vast knowledge and understanding that he has provided for me, he will always be my mentor and family. I feel like Robert is a brother that I have never had the privilege of meeting. I once almost fell away from my mentor when he said he wouldn't pray for a smoker, but God has helped me hold fast to the Truths that my mentor the good Professor has provided through the Truth of the Living WORD that has been provided to him. Praise the Lord for this testimony and reunion. Let All of God's people rejoice in the current events in His Bride. Praise the Lord. Let us all abide in the Truth of the Living WORD.

Robert's story resonated with mine.. I was never a "wild child" per se. On the contrary I was a outwardly a good child. But the rebellion & worldliness, I kept it to myself. & the worst things I did, I started doing on the same year that I was baptized, at 16 years old.
Things only got worse as I went to live in a different city from my parents. All through it I was never far from church, but I was alone. I don't have friends from church. It wasn't anyone's fault, I was always an introvert that prefer to do things on my own.
But I remember being a young person, far from home, going to a big church in an unfamiliar city, and no one greeted me. No one invited me to anything. No one implored me to stay back..
Sabbath after Sabbath I went to church and went home immediately after. & did whatever I want. I only truly returned to Christ around the age of 25. Truly, us who were born in the church, don't see the truth as valuable. We think it's valuable but in our lives, we just set the truth aside and do whatever we want.
Truly, everyone has to search God for himself and herself. No one can snatch you and force you to meet the living God... I paid dearly for my sins but I'm glad God had pity on me.
I appreciate you sharing. I feel some of us live through the faith of others, pretending, taking for granted that foundation of faith. Seeking no true relationship. Glad you found comfort in God. You will never be alone again.

He and his ministry team were so kind and friendly that my husband and I were happily surprised and felt lovingly accepted by these God fearing strangers who even invited us to visit with them and shared their meal with us. Our first born is curious and seeking the world's favor, and we are praying for her. This testimony came at a time when I was growing weary but God....

I can relate. My daughter was born when I was 27, things were going very bad for me and I decided to get back to Jesus so I could raise her in the fear of the Lord so she could make an informed decision for her salvation later on in life. It cost me my marriage. My wife did not grow up SDA as I did and the change in life style was difficult. After years of prayer and so many problems invovling my daughter and court, my job, and a host of other things, I now have peace of mind. I always say that if it wasn't for my daughter being born, I would not be back in the church nor would I be taking my prayer life seriously.

Praise God, praise Jesus, praise the God-Head! Thank goodness we have the ability to repent thru Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to change our harts so we come into harmony with God. Roger Morneau emphasized how important intercessory prayer is. Not always do those we pray for repent, accept Jesus and biblical truth, but we can be assured that if we continue to pray for people, God will do His uttermost to save them. In the end they (the un-saved) will be shown by Jesus how many times they rejected the truth and how merciful God was in reaching out to them over and over and over again. Dear Walter, I'm so glad that God is working with your children, that none may be lost. Satan, in his rage against you preaching the truth, has tried to take your children. I listened to this wonderful testimony twice over..... Because I too have a wayward adult son. Upon reflection of the whole story I realized there was much talk about the need to return to the lifestyle ,the eating and drinking properly , and the keeping of the commandments properly but very little mention of "Christ and him crucified" and the marvelous work of the son of God for the salvation of sinners. Even though I know you thoroughly believe in the salvific work of Jesus and the mighty power brought to us by the Holy Spirit who alone can bring conviction of sin and righteousness and judgment to come. But first must come to us the choice to receive the gift of God his very only begotten son and his sacrifice with his own blood on the cross for us personally. When we receive him the Father's amazing love gift and the Son's willingness to shed his blood for our salvation..... Only then the Holy Spirit begins pointing out to us the right lifestyle the right path of righteousness etc.
May Jesus be front and center for it is in beholding him that we are changed from glory to glory he will lead us on the path of righteousness for his name's sake.

Thank you for sharing part of your story with those of us who have children, as sensitive as it was. Our dear Father in Heaven loves and cares for each person far more than any earthly parent loves his child, and He wants us to spend forever with Him.
This conversation was not easy for Robert or Walter. I raised my son alone from the age if two years and we have gone througĥ so many challenges.
May the God of Heaven give all of you the wisdom to make the right choise.
