  • This bitmap tracing video tutorial covers everything about bitmap cropping and trading in Vectric Vcarve (desktop, pro, cut2d) and Aspire. You will learn how to take pictures and work with color and black & white tracing. You will also learn how to work with nodes and the curve to fit function of vectric V carve. and Aspire. You will learn how to turn bitmaps into vectors.
We will take handwriting from an image, crop the image and trace it. Then we will fix the signature with node editing. Finally, we will run it on the Longmill CNC router, paint and finish the carved work.

Hey Garrett. It’s a small world. My brother-in-law (Fred Graves) and Jim were very good friends and used to race super modifies at the Oswego Speedway. I used to work on Fred’s pit crew and met Jim many times. Fred went on to be a crew chief in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series and Fred’s son Andy went onto crew for Jeff Gordon and eventually crew chief for Terry LaBonte in NASCAR. I could on further but the coincidence here is very real. Glad I ran across this video not to mention the video was very helpful in expanding my CNC knowledge. Thanks a million for the education and the memory.

There are to many options when perhaps one or two options would suffice for me eliminating some confusion. That is just me ,older mind, trying to remember the process.practice practice practice, that is the key.Great job to my further understanding and will watch again.
