      Thanks! That’s why we’ve been drooling over a production car for so long. We actually used it on another production shoot today and we have another one coming up the day after tomorrow. This thing has been worth every penny. The only thing that hasn’t been positive are the pneumatic casters. One went flat on us today. That sucked.

    Had a similar shoot at the end of last month with the local school system and it's so interesting how different and similar the shoot styles are. Stills look great, might have to look into the cart. I have a Rock N Roller that I build shelves for, but the attatchemt points in the corners for the monitor, light and camera look like a life saver

      The rock-n-roller is super solid. We have one of those as well. Super valuable!

    How are you mounting the c-stand riser to the cart (holding the light)?

    • @videopromike
      @videopromike  4 месяца назад +1

      It’s actually a light stand attachment that the manufacturer makes. We purchased two, but we should’ve bought more. It clamps right into the corner receiver of the cart. It’s brilliant

    hi mike i love ur work. have u ever had nanlite fc500b, whats ur opinion about them? looking to get 2 of these, mainly for podcasts. i have 2 nanlite fs 150

      They look like great lights to me. The FC lights from Nanlite have always been on my radar ever since they came out. But like I said on the video, I always wait till I get the deals. I get 90% of my deals off of eBay.

    First time viewer and new subscriber (#63). Have you considered having the flag right behind your head not having the pole facing your head but reversed? My wife didn't want me to comment but I would feel bad if something happened to either of you in case of a car crash. Enjoyed your video and loved how you both used the cart for lighting and carrying your gear.

      Thanks for looking out, that’s a good point. We usually do it like that, but the gear stack isn’t so high. What really needs to happen is we need to get a cargo van with a nice metal partition wall (bulkhead head) behind our heads. That is literally the next thing we’re going to get. But thanks for the tip, we got a lookout for each other.

    Love the way you have your Inovativ setup. I have one myself, but I've yet to use it with diffusion and light hooked direct to it for a rolling key like that. I've actually thought about it quite a bit though, so maybe I'll give it a go on the next shoot. Great video!

      We got the idea from the Selens booth at NAB. They had lights on their corner mountedlight stands. That’s when we knew we needed to get a set of those, and now we want at least two more.
