This lady is so genuine. I'm shedding tears particularly when she talked about wishing her mom could be travelling with her. Watching from Dublin Ireland. Hugs to Cheryl.
Love Cheryl's story! Want to give her BIG shout out on staying sober and getting healthy enough to get off meds.❤😊 Love her open design and colors. Safe happy travels.
“There’s something beautiful on the other side of fear…“ I can’t pin down exactly why this video struck me. Maybe it’s Cheryl‘s courage, maybe it’s her resilience, maybe her sense of adventure. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your story and look forward to hearing more about, your life. Autumn, you are a remarkable interviewer! You have a way of gently coaxing out stories. You exude love and acceptance. So happy you’re part of Bob’s team!❤
841 views in 29 minutes speaks volumes about life in America today. Thank you, for giving us all an alternative. I found this channel at the beginning of 2017 and moved my husband and I out of a 2400sqf house and into a camper in December of 2017. Haven't missed anything about paying someone else rent.
Autumn graciously combines the reasons why people are nomads, the functionality of their rigs, as well as the finer points of decor! Great job, Autumn!
I have trepidation about driving a class c, but I'm planning to rent similar sized vehicles from U-Haul on weekends to get used to driving them. After my confidance grows, I'll start shopping.
Thanks Cheryl. Seeing this life on the hoof is so helpful. I'm 68. this summer I started going out in a rebuilt Class C and spent about 6 weeks in it. The hardest part for me is figuring out where I'm going. I find the boondocking part confusing and it takes me a lot of planning. I don't want to spend more than 3 or 4 hours driving at a time if I can help it. I know I just have to learn the ropes. Sometimes I fall back on a KOA so I can clean my tank and relax, but this is not the wilderness. I still have a home I love and when I'm here I never want to go anywhere. But when I'm in the truck, I never want to go home. Also, I'm reading Bob's book "Wisdom from the Road" -- the main question that keeps arising as I read: "How do I want to live?" . These videos and all advice really matter.
I always get lots of good information, and inspiration from Bob’s videos, and your videos. Bob made a great choice in bringing you on to help spread the joy of CheapRVLiving! Thank you ❤
I recently had the same problem with my RV refrigerator. Their should be a small plastic tube in your refrigerator, the end of which is usually clipped to one of the cooling fins. Adjusting the end of the tube up on the fin increases the cold, lowering the end of the tube decreases the cooling. Hope this helps. Nice rig by the way. Welcome to the RV movement! (Double meaning intended.)
I heard a lot of rv fridges freeze stuff. Also heard of a hack to place some dollar tree thin, plastic cutting board along the inside walls of the refrigerator to stop freezing. Currently trying this hack out because ours freezes our food too. Hope it works🤗
Wow that’s amazing. I wish I had solar, a water tank & generator. I’m slowly getting there. I’m moochdockong mostly & working full time wherever I go. I love the lifestyle except for all the repairs. She’s inspiring!
Dialogue that speaks volumes ! Love her little home on wheels and her beautiful attitude. Very apparent that she has grew as a person and likes where she is at this time and in this space. THANK YOU for sharing.
Autumn and Cheryl fantastic, fantastic fantastic video. Thank you for your honesty. Open Ness and down to earth Ness. Hope to see you out there this winter. Wondering about cashing in the 401(k). Getting hit with taxes is the big part. So what you can’t take it with you! And thanks to Bob. he is a gift to the world of nomads and nomadic living. Hope to leave right after Thanksgiving from New Hampshire to the Quartzsite/95 area of BLM land. Was there the last two years and not sure why I came back. God bless you all.
This is my first "Like" ever since I've been watching Cheap RV Living over these years because of a profound truth Cheryl spoke... "There is something beautiful on the other side of fear". Thank you!
I'm so glad Cheryl found a healthier happier way of life. This has likely added more years to her life! And she can follow her family and never leave her home!❤
Nice home on wheels. I'm amazed at how your guest was able to discontinue her health treatments with just a lifestyle change. Awesome! Thank you for the encouraging report.
This interview with Cheryl is inspiring. I have a good income but very little saved for retirement. I am tired of looking at overpriced fixer upper houses with this or that problem. I would like a couple of go-to places I could stay in between traveling once I am not working full time. I can work remotely so that would be an option for my non-retirement time of life.
We are so alike...my mom passed and was able to afford my tiny house, also 28' rv!!! Mine is much older, bathroom is THE WORST, but thankful for my own home!!!! However, I still have left kids' driveway!!! I'm a Lil nervous yet! But, one day.....!!!!
Anyone that is tired of overpaying for mortgages, rents, taxes, etc, should start minimizing and saving that extortion money to free themselves from the slave system. Then you could also move overseas and see what freedom is really like. Looking good Autumn, thank you Cheryl. Cheers!
I was most impressed with how she got off meds, lost weight, got sober, got healthy, etc. Wonderful! QUESTION - where does the rig stay each night? Are you renting a pad in RV park / staying on BLM land for free / with a friend etc. I don't want the location, just ideas from you on how to do that safely and keep the cost down. Thank you!
that was a beautiful shot out in nature! I love that she explained her home continues to evolve little by little and how living this she has become much healthier. I agree with listening to your intuition.
I really love this idea. I will be 62 in December so I am thinking of ideas that would suit me for when I REALLY retire in the future. One thing that would stop me though is my daughter. She Is 24 now, has a boyfriend, has a part time job but she has a learning disability and she could not take care of herself if she was alone. So that right there would worry me. But I am still thinking of things for when I retire.
Oh, I would love to meet you someday your camper is gorgeous. I just bought a van this year, and I am slowly overcoming my fears and documenting some of it on the way hopefully someday our past will cross.
I have loved tiny living since before it was a thing. I wanted to retire early and do this. I’m becoming content with the thought of doing this in retirement. Sounds like she has make a lot of good and healthy moves in her life. Love the colorful print curtains and her embracing of color!
Good video, and thanks for featuring a class C motorhome! I feel that a van would be too cramped for me and have been looking at motorhomes for a while. Seeing what Cheryl did with hers was really helpful.
Congratulations to Cheryl for winning at life. She’s sober, fit and free! At 5 years sober, I sold everything & bought an old RV. Traveled for over 2.5 years. It was the early 90s, so I had no phone or internet. (Starlink is wonderful. You can work anywhere.) Autumn has a vibrant personality and is so gorgeous.
I think it's more of how the safety question may hold you back. A lot of videos and interviews center on how once you're out you realize the safety isn't compromised as long as you make safe choices and leave if you ever feel unsafe or unsure. Do you want the guarantee of safety but never experience the freedom or do you want to take that risk and try and likely discover it's not a choice where you lose your safety completely
Great interview! Good for you ... Congrats on your new life:) I'm currently in the process of purchasing a used Nissan delivery van to build out as my "Dawdy Hause" on wheels:) See you down the road ... God Bless
Autumn is a nice addition to the channel. She does a wonderful job interviewing.
Still a bit nervous, but doing a great job nonetheless!
Thanks so much! 🙂🍂
Congrats Cheryl on such personal life changing accomplishments. Bravo!
Enjoy your journey’s…

Or the interviewer
in the camper, where do you "live" i.e. settle in each night? I don't want the location, just ideas from you .... thank you!
"There are a lot of beautiful things on the other side of fear." ❤
“There’s a lot of beautiful things on the other side of fear”. Love it!

I'm framing that phrase..

Feeling so inspired and empowered to start my nomad journey after watching this!!
Great job Autumn. Cheryl had a great quote about great things on the other side of fear. Love it.
Brilliant statement!!! "There are a lot of beautiful things on the other side of fear." I may have to borrow that one!
This channel just gets better and better. Love it.
Great life long decision Cheryl! Houses don't always have to be attached to land. Wheels are great to make a HOME.
Good for her !
She's an amazing human
well done to the lady for getting sober and losing weight. Health is everything.
Im a year and a half i'll be retiring at 56.
I'm on the road at 56 & a 1/4!
I retired 3 years ago at 59 and no regrets.
🥳👍

"It just feels like I'm winning out here." I love this.
Great interview. My favorite comment: "I feel like I'm winning out here".
Dear Cheryl, Giant congratulations for getting clean and healthy. you have changed your life. Good job.

Great Video!! More and more people are finding affordability to be the deciding factor in where they live.

"... beautiful things on the other side of fear."
"Will you regret not doing it in five years? Probably."
Love her❤

No one is guaranteed safety living in a house or apartment or anywhere but we are guaranteed freedom for sure living this lifestyle.
Nice home on wheels. I'm amazed at how your guest was able to discontinue her health treatments with just a lifestyle change. Awesome! Thank you for the encouraging report.
Thank you for sharing. Blessings to you.
Good job Autumn great questions and I love the mix of colors in this setup 😊
I love the white mountains!

Health is our most important quality! Unfortunately, so
many people don’t realize it until they loose it! Congratulations for your sobriety!!
This is an awesome story!

In regard heating just keep yourself warm and spray bottles are great for cooling..

OK I finally found her. That took a long time. Her channel name is just "Dreamer".
Cheryl's real, said a few things that got to me (in a good way). Autumn, great interview, keep it up!
Freedom with a beautiful lady ❤
Oh, I would love to meet you someday your camper is gorgeous. I just bought a van this year, and I am slowly overcoming my fears and documenting some of it on the way hopefully someday our past will cross.

Aww.. momma’s quilt 💝
Thank you for sharing, it's awesome ❤❤
Great!
Autumn's presence is pure magic!
When she talks about the video Outward Bound, she said there was the question: Do you want to be safe or do you want to be free. Why can't we be both?
I think it's more of how the safety question may hold you back. A lot of videos and interviews center on how once you're out you realize the safety isn't compromised as long as you make safe choices and leave if you ever feel unsafe or unsure. Do you want the guarantee of safety but never experience the freedom or do you want to take that risk and try and likely discover it's not a choice where you lose your safety completely
@@tiggerdagamerthat’s a good reply! Thank you . God bless.
Autumn great interview
