This is one of the most beautiful tanks I have seen, probably the MOST beautiful. I also have a tank that I recently started and was wondering, did you have an ugly stage, what happened during that ugly stage, and how did you overcome it? Anyways, amazing work!

@@MrAquariummasterthat’s exactly what I wanted to hear. You must have powerful filtration then. I’ve done no water changes in years on my freshwater tank, trying to do the same with my reef. Your tank is splendid!❤
@ honestly saltwater should be easier than freshwater as long as you have a created a system that self supports. The amount of biological filtration that happens on its own out numbers that of freshwater. Your biggest filters in a reef tank is your rock and sand
@@MrAquariummaster so how do handle build up of algae and bryopsis? On a nano I can do water changes to get rid of nasty buildup. I use lots of rock and pads but no skimmer. Just seems like I hardly feed and still see the tank get nasty. Just was curious how I get to once a month water changes even.
@ snails, hermits and fish. All those tangs keep it algea free. I used to have a nano tank too (see my old videos) and usually it’s about finding a balance. Water flow helps a lot and a blenny it’s a good idea on smaller tanks
@@MrAquariummaster The stereotype is that Asian culture allows for much less consideration for pets and animals in general. This has certainly been true in my personal experience. Asian people keep overstocked tanks much more often as its generally not as looked down upon in Asian culture. To give you reference you have multiple tangs in an extremely full 53 gal tank. The recommended tank size for one yellow tang is 125 gal. Multiple tangs are in a 180 or above for most people. You have about 1/5th of that swimming space if we're being generous.
