Nice job. What bothers me is that, what's the point of covering rockwool with mdf pieces ? you simply covered most of the absorption areas, leaving only first reflection points intact. Can you explain this approach ?
@@DrSamE That room has literally 0 "professional" treatment for the amount of bass power the bottom woofers would output making them effectively useless. Soundproofing a room isn't the same as acoustically treating it. From the video alone there is no evidence they even calculated room noise, or frequency nodes. Just because it looks "nice" doesn't mean it is doing a practical job. Do you even know the full wavelength of frequencies around the 20-100Hz range? They have no bass traps set up and there is literally no way there isn't a single low end frequency that would give problems in certain areas of the room. They might have slightly treated the room for much higher frequencies but even then as I said in the entire video there is no evidence they recorded and tested frequencies. Bass is the issue with larger speakers. Bigger isn't always better.

(Might be wrong here, but at least those diffusors are provided by him) You clearly have no understanding of acoustics, or how speakers interact with in room. Bass waves have a length of up to 17 metres That room is no larger than 5 metres at it's length there is insufficient space for bass waves to fully develop in that room which would lead to serious issues with it reflecting around in there. How about you actually study the physics of sound before trying to lecture someone who has studied it.
i wish i have a music studio someday :( even its a mini studio! I cant afford even a cheap studio big problem for me cause i am a music producer but cant record a best quality cause i haven't any recording equipment even a cheap mic i only use a cellphone mic i only have a computer to make a beats i wish i could have :(

The insolation is rockwool and slats are made of mdf. The optiffuser is made of styrofoam and is Jens Eklunds own design.
