    I keep hearing about the hallmarks of heartbreaking OSU losses, and I keep thinking of all the things that have to go wrong for this team to lose, and the losses are all competitive. Look around at some of the losses that teams suffer, and ask yourself if a 2 possession loss is better than a one or two point loss with a chance to win the game in the final seconds. Teams don’t beat OSU, they survive.

Also, Ryan has dealt with blatant cheating from scum. The offense at OSU has never been better, the recruiting has been at an insane level. If Ryan Day had a 50% win rate or close to it when it comes to big games we wouldn't have this big problem with Ohio State losing a game or two occasionally. Ohio State wants to view themselves as a Saban Led Alabama team. Ryan Day OSU program has more in common with Oklahoma Sooner program with Bob Stoops. Stoops had great teams but never could win the Big games. That's the issue.

    The linebackers played HORRIBLE in that game. I don't know what Austin was watching, but if cody Simon makes a few of the tackles that he missed, we could've had them backed up behind the chains more. If Styles fills his gaps and doesn't totally lose the TE coming out of the backfield on a couple of 3rd & 4th downs we get the ball back. If the d-line is playing to contain and not to get sacks against running QBs, the LBs HAVE TO make the plays and the tackles.

It is the integrity of how you win. This team works hard.. train hard n at times fail on aspects of execution in big games n they deserve all the constructive criticism. On a positive note this team will get back to work n move on… there are greater things to come. Oregon had their day n what’s done is done…someday Oregon will crumble too. A new team will emerge.

    I want to believe the coaches can fix their issues. But I haven’t seen us win a big game outside of Penn state since 2020 against clemson. I’m not saying Ryan day “can’t” win the big game. I think there’s a real issue in that defensive coaching staff. And I hate to say it may be Larry Johnson. But it also feels like ever since Day has been the head coach the defensive issues have lingered, regardless of who the DC is. (Outside of 2019 with Jeff hafley when we had supreme talent) (and still lost the big game) so idk if Day somehow has is fingerprints on the defense and wants it ran a certain way. Whatever it is it’s not working

  • @sameichorn3757
    @sameichorn3757 6 дней назад

    The problem with OSU is not that they win 99 percent of their games or whatever. It’s that on a national state against equal talent they flop every time. You can’t say OSU fans are spoiled because OSU wins all the time and one loss isn’t a big deal and then act like OSU is a national title contender every year. Pick one or the other. Should OSU fans be happy for 10 wins guaranteed against out talented opponents or should they hold OSU to a national title standard. You can not have both and have a logical conversation about the program. If you think OSU should beat Penn state Nebraska and Michigan state every year and don’t care about post season because OSU has 10 wins then the ducks loss is whatever who cares. If you think OSU should win a natty it’s a really big freakin deal because it’s been happening for years. The last major win for this program was Clemson. That’s so embarrassing as a program that says they are the best.
