    I am an international student looking for future campus housing in WVU, the most confusing thing for me is that in most of the dorm tours of WVU(the ones I have seen) they have bathroom attached to them, and while I was going through the website for housing, they have the double room and double suite room( I am looking forward for the doubles) so can anyone please tell me if we have an attached bathroom in the double room also? Or is it just for the suite? That would really help, Thanks alot :)

    hi!! just wondering when you applied for housing? i just did my deposit last night so i’m worried i’m going to be too late to get into summit.

    • @livbbrooke
      @livbbrooke  3 года назад +1

      Hey! I actually applied for housing a lotttt later than most people. I think it was about April or May that I actually completed my application and put down a deposit. I was really nervous about getting into Summit too because it fills up so fast! I only had to wait a week on the wait list and they told me there was a spot open. A lot of people change their minds about their living situation and even going to WVU, so don’t worry about not finding a spot! One will definitely open up if the dorm is already filled!💓💓💓

    I just got accepted into wvu, i’ll be living in an apartment near the campus. what do you think is the best way to make friends if you don’t live in dorms

    • @livbbrooke
      @livbbrooke  3 года назад

      I think just being on campus as much as possible to study, eat, or explore! Getting involved in clubs and within your major is a great idea too, so I would recommend looking up the list when you first move in to your apartment. There are a lot more places opening up (the Rec, more restaurants, etc), so I’m sure more clubs will be available for you to participate in. Don’t be too discouraged though because it has been a lot harder for everyone during the pandemic; just go a bit out of your comfort zone & open to people & you should be fine :)

    I just got accepted, I’m a sports
    Physiology major. Do you have any recommendations of where to house at??

    • @livbbrooke
      @livbbrooke  3 года назад +1

      Hey! You get a lot of basic classes out of the way freshman year, and you’ll probably have to go to the opposite campus at least once a week for a class no matter what campus you live on. I searched for your major map and saw it recommends a biology and psychology class for your first year. I would probably recommend living on downtown if you would prefer to reside near your class buildings because I think the majority of biology and psychology classes are in the Life Sciences Building (at least mine and my friends were). If you would rather live on one campus rather than the other though, I’d go ahead and do that and then possibly change it according to your schedule when you make it in the summer. You will be able to see the buildings your classes are in once your schedule is confirmed with your advisor! I would recommend either of the honors dorms (one of each on downtown and evansdale) if you’re in honors, Summit Hall or Seneca if you wanna be near the Life Sciences Building, and any of the towers buildings! Downtown has a more city vibe to it and Evansdale is a lot more calmer and flat. Really depends on what you’re looking for! Hope this helped :)

      liv b thank you so much. So would you recommend the dorm you stayed in. I got my official acceptance letter in the mail today and my major is in school of medicine as an exercise physiology major. That definitely helped tho💖

    • @livbbrooke
      @livbbrooke  3 года назад

      Congratulations! That’s so exciting! I would definitely recommend living in Summit :) it definitely helps being near the Life Science Building for your first year classes. I would definitely recommend looking at the amenities chart to compare dorms and see exactlyyy what you’re looking for because I’d honestly recommend my dorm, seneca, and honors (which are all right by the LSB). So glad I could help! Congrats again💓
