Just come back from Manchester AO and Christmas markets with mum, seen a homeless man sleeping under blanket on high street at 11pm with a shot gun, but Manchester eirey hang ups serve a purpose. I went Liverpool markets days later and there were everyone smoking in public like Manchester used to be. Happy Mondays had all the best sound stage, instruments and systems and Manchester people are all more professional and grown up mature in there work, more defined and profound. A music that changed a revolution without a curse or a complaint, a celebration happened that woke generations and generations to come. Hallelujah!
Crazy how few people know about this song. Feel like it should catch a ride on the youtube algorithm, at some point. Reminds me of the Stone Roses remix album (which was also awesome) -- probably bc Paul Oakenfold had his hand in both mixes (?). Original song came out in '88, I think.
