Hey! Love the new software at first glance, but it has some features missing that make it pretty hard to use at the moment. For starters, it doesn't seem to recognize the Home button on my Xplorer at all. It works in Guitar Configurator so I know it works, but it just doesn't work in the new Santroller based software. Second, there's no option to bind start + select to the home button, which makes using other guitars difficult as well. I'd love to use this new program! As I'd love to be up to date with the latest improvements and what not, but not being able to use the home buttons on my guitars is definitely a bummer as someone who almost exclusively uses the 360.
@@Landen-zo1fn yes and no. If you have a modded Xbox that you can apply the USB verification patch through dashlaunch on, it works great on 360. I use it on my 360 daily. However, if you do not have a modded 360, it won't work.
For the new Santroller software, it states that the brightness for the LEDs should stay at a level of 9 and under to ensure they last. Is that a true statement? I am just asking because I would like to make the LEDs brighter, but I don't want them to die if that's the case.

Just got mine, and it was super easy to put together. My Xplorer went from completely dead, to working great in just a couple of hours 😌 I definitely recommend picking this kit up if you’re thinking about it.
I recommend it, unless you want to use it on Xbox 360 I’d say just go ahead and get the kit if your xplorer is broken. The rgb is nice, and the strum bar feels so good
It would be cool if you could make a tutorial of the new Santroller software. The older software works great for PC, but tilt doesn’t work on Playstation. The new software has fixed this issue, but it looks a whole lot more complex to configure a guitar in it…
This is an awesome guitar mod kit, I love it! I have some suggestions that will make it better: 1. The frets have 1.2-1.3mm ball bearings inside the switches. Lowers a travel distance by a decent amount. Doesn’t make the guitar overtap, or automatically activate the leds. I did this to my guitar and it made it much better. 2. Shorter frets. I have some mech fret buttons that are shorter and have a flat top. This makes the guitar feel way more comfortable, and natural to the original guitar. Keep up the great work!
Broooo you are gift from the gods, thanks for doing this content and these packs you are keeping alive this community better than ever, thank you, thank you, thank you! 🤘🔥
Awesome to see! Might have to order me one of these, I have three old Xplorers laying around. I asked in a reply to your comment on the last solderless video, but I was curious if you might be thinking about making fretboards with different switches, namely haptic switches.
