I can remember many of the odd targets, exactly the place where I found it years later. If I see jewelry in these bins while I am sorting, I usually know where I found that jewelry. I find so much jewelry, rings and coins that do not make it to my videos.
Dang man! I sort through my stuff pretty much every time I go out. I clean up the keepers. Precious metals go into bags or sleeves, spendable change goes into a rock tumbler and then into my kid’s piggy bank.
Yup I poured my pouch into a box for 6 months before I realized it's better to just sort after every hunt, but it was fun going through the box and seeing what you found before, but it's work that doesn't need to be done if you just sort every day
I dispose of most of the trash I find into the park bins. Most people could not fathom how many targets I dig every week. I mostly take the coins, pultabs and jewelry home with me. Usually at the end of the day the coins are stuck together with mud and the foil sticks to everything. Usually we do not know what we have until it all dries out, that drying time could take a few days. Many days we hunt until it is too dark to see, or we are too tired to swing anymore. It is so much easier to sort this stuff out after it is completely dry. The clay we have here is so messy when it is wet
@@PaystreakSuperfreak yeah I get it. I used to do the same but I never got around to sorting through the stuff. I’m well are of the clay and it is awful. I dump all my stuff into a strainer and wash it off right away because if I don’t, it’ll just pile up and my wife will nag me 😂. It’s all good man, everybody has their way of doing things.
Do you suggest a specific machine for gold coin searching on european ground!? I mean except those expensive Minelab machines they use in Australia for nuggets!?
Every ground is different. If there has been gold coins in your area found with a metal detector, You would have good results finding maybe more coins with the same brand of detector as the other coins were found with. I have never hunted in Europe before, I have never found a gold coin. In have found several hundred gold rings.
I sold some gold I didn't need this week. 2750 price. A nice heavy cap of gold tooth. When I found it, I though it was solder I find on the beach. I got $735 for stuff I didn't like. Do you find a lot of fillings in your playground hunts?
I found one with the D2 last year in a tot lot, think I got about $90 for it. I’d think they would be nearly impossible to find in a park or any other soil environment. Clearly has to be very close to the surface and you were into picking up every piece of foil
Hey man. Sorry for all the questions but you detect more than anyone I know so I figure I get a correct answer from you. I have most of my settings figured out on my triple score. I was waiting wondering if you use the bottle cap reject or filter on the legend. ? I haven't used mine but was thinking it may help with those.
We do not use the bottlecap feature or the iron filter because the single frequency operation on the Legend does not have those options. Only the multi frequency options have the filter and reject. We almost never use multi frequency. Bottlecaps have a certain tone in single frequency, the bottlecap tone is very easy to identify and learn. We can identify 95% of the bottlecaps in single frequency just by the tone, as long as we do not notch out the iron. As long as the iron volume is high, we can identify the iron while in single frequency just by the tone. Multi frequency is for saltwater.
@@PaystreakSuperfreak This is great info. Thank you. So I have 4 15 and 20. Which single frequency would you run in? If you have those to choose from. And you have your iron volume higher than your regular detector volume. I have my detector volume at 2. So run iron at 3??
Would they actually accept them crusty critters ? Lol .. I use my quarters in the laundry machines and the dimes and nickels in the vending machines at work and the many many pennies I toss in the woods at home for future metal detectorists haha lmao 🤣
That’s a lot of stuff. Why don’t you separate the hood from the trash when you’re swingin’? You’re already saving time swing as fast as you do. 😂 Just kidding around. Enjoying your vids.
Fantastico il metal detecting. Monete romane pero.... Grande geremy. Numero uno.
It's kinda cool when we revisit an item we can remember where we found it

@@Detect-Oregon Nice. This one was heavy as a ring. I found it by the water on the beach.

Oh yeah ..I found two pen knives still in my bag. Thanks buddy. Need to break out the ketchup. Good luck.
You might have a 70 Chevelle in coins. I'm trying to get mine running again. Don't do it actually. haha
