- Here's a look at what the Communicore Hall/Plaza construction is looking like currently at EPCOT, filmed on March 14th 2024. This project still seems some time away from opening, but hopefully by the summer it'll be open.

It looks like the tile mural pays homage to the beginning of Epcot with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy in their spacesuits and the Dreamfinder machine. I really love this new section of the park and this new building will enhance it even further. I think when folks just see it on camera it doesn't translate as well. When you are there in the garden and the seating, it makes total sense and there is a sense of community, which I think is the point.

Well, one good thing about delaying my next visit…Communicore should be done! I love seeing Dreamfinder’s ship in that mural, thank you, 4K, for spending a little time there in the view (ah, nostalgia!!…”So glad you could come along….”) As a musician, I am still so enamored with the music Pinar Toprak wrote for Epcot…hearing her primary motive woven throughout all the different styles in the BGM.
Sure sounded like someone was getting splashed at the jumping fountains there!
Fantastic update!! So much closer to all the walls being gone!! (well, from this area…there will always be new and updated things in progress, hiding behind the go-away-green walls….)
Yep that’s true, this definitely should be open next time you’re here! I also continue to enjoy this new music loop so much. And I’m sure once these walls are finally removed, they’ll relocate to Animal kingdom for the Dinoland USA demolition! Thank you so much as always Rick😃

🎵🎵Construc update time, it's construc update time! 🎶🎶That lone blue "X" on a tile is concerning but a person who WILL miss the wall is that guy w/outstretched legs UP it at 3:24.🤣Love seeing Dream Finders machine as you lingered w/the music in the background. You were so close to the Land, did you hear the original music loop that maybe is mistakenly being played??? Secretly hoped you'd have captured it here but it may not have been playing. They keep playing with us & these BGMs. LOL I'd said July, but maybe September for full completion? Thx 4💜
Hahaha yea that guy with his legs up was unexpected 🤣 I think The Land music loop returned the day after I filmed this! I heard it was then removed and then put back again, so I have no clue what’s going on over there lol. I just want the Innoventions music back somewhere haha, but I know it won’t happen. You may still be right with a July opening for the building, as long as they don’t stop working but who knows🤷♂️ Thanks so much Liz!!

They are dragging their feet with getting this done! My goodness! I assume this will be the greatest building that's ever been built in the history of buildings! Haha! As always, you do a fantastic job of showing everything from the best viewpoints! Thank you!

Slowly, yet steadily the construction work continues. Perhaps in another month or three....
Hopefully in the evenings the buildings will be bathed in beautiful light.

So universal will finish a whole new park before Disney can update a building
Word on the street is that Disney takes extended time to finish projects so that they can be eligibale for larger tax breaks and can basically fully fund their projects for "free". It's not that they "can't" finish faster, it's that they don't want to. Because it's way cheaper.
At magic kingdom it doesn’t even look like the queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been touched
