Great video Sheikh! Khilafah is necessary because without it, we're going to just complain to Westerners about Muslim issues, which they don't care about. It's so pathetic. If we can get just 5 or 6 countries to unite, it would make an impact, insha Allah.
Don't expect the current Muslim nations to unite, and implement a Khilafah. They're all led by Puppet masters to the UN and US. We need to establish a Khilafah based on the Prophetic Methodology, which fully imposes Sharia without any sugarcoating. Also, do you think the West and the "Muslim" nations would simply allow a Khilafah to emerge? Look how they all united to defeat the ones whom tried doing so (I'm not supporting them), that shows you that you can't rely solely on these Muslim nations whom are the lap dogs of western nations.

Yasir Qadi is very realistic looking at the world we live in now and he’s not in favour of removing the khalifa or against it, he’s just pragmatic about it and he’s right u gotta start somewhere small, somewhere low then make your way up to the kalifa. The main thing is unity! We must achieve unity first in the ummah via any tactics or methodology.

Imaam al-Ghazali (rh.a.) when writing of the potential consequences of losing the Khilafah said, "The judges will be suspeneded, the Wilayaat (provinces) will be nullified, ... the decrees of those in authority will not be executed and all the people will be on the verge of Haraam". (al Iqtisaad fil Itiqaad page 240.) Imam an-Nawawi (Rh) said: "They (the scholars) consented that it is an obligation upon the Muslims to appoint a khalifah and that its obligation is by revelation, not reason." [Sharhu Sahih Muslim page 205 vol 12] Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The Israelis used to be ruled and guided by prophets: Whenever a prophet died, another would take over his place. There will be no prophet after me, but there will be Caliphs who will increase in number." The people asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What do you order us (to do)?" He said, "Obey the one who will be given the pledge of allegiance first. Fulfil their (i.e. the Caliphs) rights, for Allah will ask them about (any shortcoming) in ruling those Allah has put under their guardianship." [Sahih al-Bukhari 3455] It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: One who defected from obedience (to the Amir) and separated from the main body of the Muslims - if he died in that state-would die the death of one belonging to the days of Jahiliyya (i.e. would not die as a Muslim). One who fights under the banner of a people who are blind (to the cause for which they are fighting, i.e. do not know whether their cause is just or otherwise), who gets flared up with family pride, calls (people) to fight for their family honour, and supports his kith and kin (i.e. fights not for the cause of Allah but for the sake of this family or tribe) - if he is killed (in this fight), he dies as one belonging to the days of Jahiliyya. Whoso attacks my Ummah (indiscriminately) killing the righteous and the wicked of them, sparing not (even) those staunch in faith and fulfilling not his promise made with those who have been given a pledge of security - he has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him. [Sahih Muslim 1848 a]
May Allah bless you Sheikh Usta, that was a very powerful, effective and astute breakdown. It’s definitely necessary to combat this mindset of incompetence and helplessness that has taken over the Muslimeen. Furthermore, to correct straw-man arguments and distortions of the Ahadith that are being used to bolster a stance of weakness in the Ummah, and acceptance of Western sovereignty. We have to stop thinking that we can achieve justice within the corrupt systems of the West, and we have to stop considering the establishment of Hukm of Allah to be “optional”.

Sunan Abi Dawud 4297 Narrated Thawban: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.
Jazak Allah Khair this is the conversation we as an ummah need to be having. Unlike what Sheikh Yasir said its not among the top 10,20 things, this is top priority to solve the oppression of Muslims everywhere.

MashaAllah. It was the ONLY lecture from Shaykh Qadhi out of thousands I had a bit pain in my stomach while hearing it. Let us agree on that we somtimes dont agree on everything. It is his opinion. As far as I know he did not forbid it at all. It seems like it is his opinion and nothing more. May Allah Azza jall bless the whole ummah and bring us back together to finaly act like a whole body. I used to take knowledge from him when he still had a Sunnah beard and was talking about tawheed. However, after 9/11 he has changed a lot, just like murtadd Hamza Yusuf (who I also used to defend back in the days). Alhamdulillah for guidance from Allah The Magnificent to show me authentic Islam through scholars like Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril and Shaykh Nasir Al Fahd (and many more like Shaykh Younus Kathrada). Ones you taste the sweetness of authentic imaan, then you will notice the pattern of the filthy ones. Ameen to your beautiful dua. May Allah The Majestic guide us to whatever pleases Him alone.

Yasir Qadhi is not a man enough to debate Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril, in order to make these matters clear for all of us and in order for him to defend himself. Why is he a coward and doesn’t debate Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril in an open public forum? Someone who is knowledgeable and sincere should be able to defend themselves. Muslims aren’t stupid, we can see through lies. How is Yasir Qadhi a practicing Muslim when he says to a kaffir Christian enemy of Allah that he and his buddies (other “scholars”) are in process to change the hudud punishments? That’s kufr akbar that no two Muslims can disagree on. This is just the most recent Kufr statement he has done, together with saying that the filthy Jews of today (who are mushrikeen and kuffar) are the true followers of Musa (Sallalahu alayhim Wasalam). Yasir Qadhi may like history read a lot of history but how he interprets it, is very problemetic. nd sadly he often sides with oriental interpretations I want to suggest two videos one is Library chat 24 and Yasir Qadhis understanding of Banning Coffee vs Coffee was once banned from Blogging theology. also another point comes to mind when Yasir Qadhi talking about Printing press. When i first heard it, i thought it was a good explanation even i heard Faras Zahabi talking about this. But once i started to read more about it, the situtaion is not that easy, it was very complex. One of the reasons Ottomans didnt allow it for muslims beause every early printed book was Christian reigious book, Missonary books. when Europeans first came to our land first thing they published was a Christian missionary book, that is the fisrt printed book in Bangla. So now when Yasir Qadhi talk about History i am more cautious.

Ever seen a headless chicken lay eggs or do anything else other than flapping around mindlessly until it dies ? YQ is pointing out the fact that muslims are proverbially flapping around like a headless chicken. He cant be wrong since there is no longer a khilafah. He is just saying a khilafah will not magically appear bu muslims repeating the need for a khilafah nor will it magically solve all the issues muslims are facing. A khilafah needs to be built block by block from economic cooperation to military alliance. The only otherway is Muslims overthrowing the current emirs and sultans which means bloodbath and he is warning what that will entail. But the muslim world in general cannot think strategically or critically. So they are quick to label him or worst, declare him an infidel.
To ones carrying the dawah in a comprehensive way, which includes the active obligation of the resumption of Islamic way of life, through an Islamic polity (Khilafah) are teaching the Muslims and our kids to be the leadersbof tomorrow. The ones who have it below their "top 20" in some vague and ambigious description of priorities are teaching the Muslims that the establishment of the Deen and the free and total submission to Allah swt by implementing His Adress to mankind is of no priority and that our childeren should prepare themselves for subservience to oppressive and un-Islamic Deens, their systems and ways of life. Interest was frowned upon at the time of Khilafa by most peoples, even in Europe, but today it is part of the system. Honestly a lot of weak arguments. You mostly agreed with YQ in essence but disagreed in rhetoric. You fundamentally ignored his main point, that Khilafa is fard on those who are able to implement it أهل الحل و العقد not on the average Muslim, and you failed to address this. It seems that criticizing YQ is the popular thing to do these days, so people will do it-loudly and publicly-even when they mostly agree with him. I agree it would be better if we had people that can get away with rhetorically calling for the reestablishment of the Khilafa, but you and I both know the dangers of that. More harmful than dajjal....!!!! Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet ﷺ one day and I heard him saing: “There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal.” It was then that I became afraid, so I said: 'Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He ﷺ said, “Misguided and astray scholars.” Musnad Imam Ahmad, hadith - 21334 aur 21335. Shaykh Shu'ayb al Arna'ut graded it sahih li ghayri (authentic due to corroborating narrations) in his tahqiq of the Musnad Imam Ahmad.

Muslim enemies have two main strategies that they use to dismantle Islamic power, one is KHILAFA should not come back and secondly any ruler who rules two main holy cities should have good relations with them, and when I saw sheikh Yasir Qadi’s speech they have succeeded for those two main.
Yasir Qadhi expressed his support for the concept of striving for a khilafah, but considering the current situation, he views it as more of a fantasy. His main priority is to address the critical issue of preventing Muslims from abandoning their faith. He also mentioned that in the event the khilafah is established, he intends to contribute within its structure.
If that's how he's prioritizing the issues of Islām then he lacks basic understanding of Deen and Seerah of RasūlAllahﷺ, & he must be corrected for his Bātil views of maintaining status-quo and trying to solve the present problems with UnIslamic solutions which are not even open for Ijtihad but clear fard.
He is doing demagoguery to the apostate, a demagoguery to those who have already developed ills about islam in their heart. Rather than fixing those ills, and washing them with away with light of Imaan, rather than trying to cure their heart to love deen of Islam, he is letting those ills grow more and more by water-dowing the islam itself, simoly to appease their ill-sentiments. Such that even if they would return, they would return to the deen whch is not completely and originally revealed by Allah, but something that appeals to their personal prejudice, biases and wishfull desire. Speaking in western a youth terms - It is like a guy who was ditched by a cunning play-girl, whon began to hate himself in desperaton, and gaveup all goodness from his heart, just to beg the girl return to him. Now he start to hate his own goodness just because that girl is not retuning anymore, the fool thinks there was something wrong in himself rather than realizing that she would have never left if she was honest.

Secondly, Rasool Allah ﷺ didn't need to mention the word "khilafah" because it was understand by everyone, believer or non believer what Islam truly was. I really don't know what is Sheikh Yasir is on about. I followe him for a very long time and followed his complete series on the seerah of the prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and it was great but then he started to change with stange views starting from the preservation of the Quran, view on LGTV, khilafa on blood brothers podcast and etc.. May Allah guide him. I really like the way he speaks but it's becoming more and more problematic :(

What do you call the destruction of their places of worship, their priests and priestesses? What do you call the overthrow of the power structures in the Hijaz and North Africa in the 7th century if not an Islamic revolution? Besides, how was the Khalifa maintained and secured? Do you really believe that a Caliph can conquer foreign lands, impose Islamic rule, demand Jizya, and that's it? No one will complain and no one will push back? Sheikh Yasir once pointed out that it is no accident that the borders of Islam today are largely the borders of conquest. If Muslims want to establish a "meaningful" Khalifa that looks anything like the Rashidun Caliphate, they'll first have to confront other Muslims. Why? Because that's what happened in the 7th century! The best Muslims (Sahabas) battled each other to establish and maintain the Khalifa. Why think it will be any different today? How successful was Mohammed in establishing the Khalifa in Mecca when he was only giving Dawah? And when he established the Khalifa, was it before or after clashing violently with his pagan opponents? Today's opponents of Islamic rule are home and abroad. So if you are calling for the revival of the caliphate, you should at least be honest about the likely cost.

For my knowledge, recently in regards of Khilafa, none has the dare to speak, when somebody expressing their opinions, this becomes an debate, in my humble opinion Shk.Usta should discuss with Shk.Yasser Qadhi with the presence of some other Shks. Today we just keep watching the Genocidal in Gaza, there are so many Muslim countries around the world, none of them did nothing not even a boycott against jews products, majority of our Muslim countris are not bothered to unite after 30,000+ Shuhadhaas, 70,000+ wounded and the whole Gaza looks like a construction sites, there is no hospital, no medicines, no electricity, no school, no Masjid, no food so, the list is ever ending, in this situation how can he priorotize among top 10 or 20.
I am a student of knowledge that has admired the work of Shaykh Osta and have attended a lot of events locally. However, I don’t think much was achieved through this response except debunking the opinion of Shaykh Yasir. I find it difficult to grasp and agree with all the points shaykh Osta made and to an extent, there maybe some allegations and points quoted out of context. Such as, “….why don’t you teach….as if Allah and the system that he revealed to us from a political perspective is just like all the man made systems.. full of gaps and ruins..” Do you really think that someone like a shaykh Yasir would undermine the system of Allah or equate that to a man-made system? This is misrepresentation and distortion of the opinions yasir Qadhi presented. Moreover, having a private talk and criticizing someone’s views privately is much better than creating a video on how they “messed up”. It’s more beneficial for a Muslim community to benefit from a knowledge based video than a video highlighting the flaws of another scholar.

Actually I am shocked that a Shaykh like Yasir Qadi who says he is master in Hadith and Seerah seems to have very big lack of knowledge in this very famouse Ahadith about the very important Issue about the re-establishing about the Khilafah and how Rasulullahs (saw) Method was to establish the first Islamic state in Medina. A real life Prophet Mohammad alive. The Rashidun did it because they learned from him directly and was influenced by him directly. Today’s Muslims are at a permanent disadvantage. There is an excellent book, "Al Tawheed" by Shahid Ismā'il al Farooqi. Within this invaluable book is a chapter on understanding and establishing a Khilafa. "The ummah, is the agent of world reconstruction, or world reformation to fulfill the Divine Will... As a state, the ummah should be referred to as al khalifa rather than al dawlah. The former is closer to the Islamic tradition and to al tawhid of which it is a direct and Qur'anic deduction. The latter (al dawlah) is a modern notion, and stands at the farthest remove of the Qur'anic idea of vicegerency which is the raison d'être of the umma." Y. Yasir Qadi is very realistic looking at the world we live in now and he’s not in favour of removing the khalifa or against it, he’s just pragmatic about it and he’s right u gotta start somewhere small, somewhere low then make your way up to the kalifa. The main thing is unity! We must achieve unity first in the ummah via any tactics or methodology.

Imam an-Nawawi (Rh) said:
"They (the scholars) consented that it is an obligation upon the Muslims to appoint a khalifah and that its obligation is by revelation, not reason."

He said, "Obey the one who will be given the pledge of allegiance first. It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
One who defected from obedience (to the Amir) and separated from the main body of the Muslims - if he died in that state-would die the death of one belonging to the days of Jahiliyya (i.e. would not die as a Muslim). One who fights under the banner of a people who are blind (to the cause for which they are fighting, i.e. do not know whether their cause is just or otherwise), who gets flared up with family pride, calls (people) to fight for their family honour, and supports his kith and kin (i.e. fights not for the cause of Allah but for the sake of this family or tribe) - if he is killed (in this fight), he dies as one belonging to the days of Jahiliyya. Whoso attacks my Ummah (indiscriminately) killing the righteous and the wicked of them, sparing not (even) those staunch in faith and fulfilling not his promise made with those who have been given a pledge of security - he has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him.

It’s definitely necessary to combat this mindset of incompetence and helplessness that has taken over the Muslimeen. Furthermore, to correct straw-man arguments and distortions of the Ahadith that are being used to bolster a stance of weakness in the Ummah, and acceptance of Western sovereignty. We have to stop thinking that we can achieve justice within the corrupt systems of the West, and we have to stop considering the establishment of Hukm of Allah to be “optional”.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.

Alhamdulillah for guidance from Allah The Magnificent to show me authentic Islam through scholars like Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril and Shaykh Nasir Al Fahd (and many more like Shaykh Younus Kathrada). Ones you taste the sweetness of authentic imaan, then you will notice the pattern of the filthy ones. Ameen to your beautiful dua. May Allah The Majestic guide us to whatever pleases Him alone.

Yasir Qadhi is not a man enough to debate Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril, in order to make these matters clear for all of us and in order for him to defend himself. Why is he a coward and doesn’t debate Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril in an open public forum? Someone who is knowledgeable and sincere should be able to defend themselves. Muslims aren’t stupid, we can see through lies. How is Yasir Qadhi a practicing Muslim when he says to a kaffir Christian enemy of Allah that he and his buddies (other “scholars”) are in process to change the hudud punishments? That’s kufr akbar that no two Muslims can disagree on. This is just the most recent Kufr statement he has done, together with saying that the filthy Jews of today (who are mushrikeen and kuffar) are the true followers of Musa (Sallalahu alayhim Wasalam). I’m not even talking about his kufri statements regarding Yajuj and majuj or all his other kufri statements that go back more than a decade ago. also another point comes to mind when Yasir Qadhi talking about Printing press. When i first heard it, i thought it was a good explanation even i heard Faras Zahabi talking about this. But once i started to read more about it, the situtaion is not that easy, it was very complex.

YQ is pointing out the fact that muslims are proverbially flapping around like a headless chicken.
He cant be wrong since there is no longer a khilafah.
He is just saying a khilafah will not magically appear bu muslims repeating the need for a khilafah nor will it magically solve all the issues muslims are facing.
A khilafah needs to be built block by block from economic cooperation to military alliance.

The ones who have it below their "top 20" in some vague and ambigious description of priorities are teaching the Muslims that the establishment of the Deen and the free and total submission to Allah swt by implementing His Adress to mankind is of no priority and that our childeren should prepare themselves for subservience to oppressive and un-Islamic Deens, their systems and ways of life.
The Chinese managed to become a superpower within a timespan of 30 years due to an idea, vision, determination, striving and patience. And all of this upon kufr and jahiliyyah.

Muslim enemies have two main strategies that they use to dismantle Islamic power, one is KHILAFA should not come back and secondly any ruler who rules two main holy cities should have good relations with them, and when I saw sheikh Yasir Qadi’s speech they have succeeded for those two main.
Yasir Qadhi expressed his support for the concept of striving for a khilafah, but considering the current situation, he views it as more of a fantasy. His main priority is to address the critical issue of preventing Muslims from abandoning their faith. He also mentioned that in the event the khilafah is established, he intends to contribute within its structure.

I really don't know what is Sheikh Yasir is on about. I followe him for a very long time and followed his complete series on the seerah of the prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and it was great but then he started to change with stange views starting from the preservation of the Quran, view on LGTV, khilafa on blood brothers podcast and etc..

What do you call the conquest of Mecca or the abolition of the religious systems of the pagan Arabs? What do you call the destruction of their places of worship, their priests and priestesses? What do you call the overthrow of the power structures in the Hijaz and North Africa in the 7th century if not an Islamic revolution?
Besides, how was the Khalifa maintained and secured? Do you really believe that a Caliph can conquer foreign lands, impose Islamic rule, demand Jizya, and that's it? If Muslims want to establish a "meaningful" Khalifa that looks anything like the Rashidun Caliphate, they'll first have to confront other Muslims. Why? How successful was Mohammed in establishing the Khalifa in Mecca when he was only giving Dawah? And when he established the Khalifa, was it before or after clashing violently with his pagan opponents?
Today's opponents of Islamic rule are home and abroad. So if you are calling for the revival of the caliphate, you should at least be honest about the likely cost.

Today we just keep watching the Genocidal in Gaza, there are so many Muslim countries around the world, none of them did nothing not even a boycott against jews products, majority of our Muslim countris are not bothered to unite after 30,000+ Shuhadhaas, 70,000+ wounded and the whole Gaza looks like a construction sites, there is no hospital, no medicines, no electricity, no school, no Masjid, no food so, the list is ever ending, in this situation how can he priorotize among top 10 or 20.
I am a student of knowledge that has admired the work of Shaykh Osta and have attended a lot of events locally. However, I don’t think much was achieved through this response except debunking the opinion of Shaykh Yasir. I find it difficult to grasp and agree with all the points shaykh Osta made and to an extent, there maybe some allegations and points quoted out of context. Such as, “….why don’t you teach….as if Allah and the system that he revealed to us from a political perspective is just like all the man made systems.. full of gaps and ruins..”
Do you really think that someone like a shaykh Yasir would undermine the system of Allah or equate that to a man-made system? This is misrepresentation and distortion of the opinions yasir Qadhi presented.
Moreover, having a private talk and criticizing someone’s views privately is much better than creating a video on how they “messed up”.
It’s more beneficial for a Muslim community to benefit from a knowledge based video than a video highlighting the flaws of another scholar.

The work is not to bring back the ummayyad, abbasid or ottoman khilafa as you mentioned. It is to bring back the "Khilafa 'ala Minhaj an-Nabuwwah" that the Prophet SAW prophesized!

A real life Prophet Mohammad alive. The Rashidun did it because they learned from him directly and was influenced by him directly. Today’s Muslims are at a permanent disadvantage. So no matter what dynasty ruling or how much religious, that “Khilafa” will fail like the rest of them.

I've been following Yasir's philosophy for over a decade now , all I can say is deaf dumb and blind they will not return to the path.
There is an excellent book, "Al Tawheed" by Shahid Ismā'il al Farooqi. Within this invaluable book is a chapter on understanding and establishing a Khilafa.
"The ummah, is the agent of world reconstruction, or world reformation to fulfill the Divine Will... As a state, the ummah should be referred to as al khalifa rather than al dawlah. The former is closer to the Islamic tradition and to al tawhid of which it is a direct and Qur'anic deduction. The latter (al dawlah) is a modern notion, and stands at the farthest remove of the Qur'anic idea of vicegerency which is the raison d'être of the umma."

I have a small question to my fellow ummah. Who is the most suitable amongst the living Muslim leaders to become the Khalifa?
If the contests opens today they will start killing one another to claim the throne.
This is what happens when you’re detached from the Muslim world, and you live a comfortable secluded life in America.
Yah,, but the opposite is normally true,, they spend their time hating on the rulers of Muslim countries
