Hi! You can hook up the printer through wi-fi if you have the internet. If internet is not available, you can use the USB cable.

Great duplex printing but I cant duplex scan, manually by flipping with HP SMART.

Yes you can duplex printing but not for scanning. I also double check it with HP representative, that model have no options for duplex scanning.
