When she scolded her about mascara, that was kind of hostile..
The model is already so pretty without makeup omg I’m obsessed 😍😍
Honestly she did explain why Lucie shouldn’t pump the mascara. I don’t get why all of you are calling her rude, she didn’t scream at her, she just said ‘please don’t pump my mascara’. In all honestly I couldn’t understand why Lucie pumped the mascara so many times, I was getting annoyed before the MUA even opened her mouth cause I personally don’t see the need for THAT many pumps ? I must say tho, Lucie did a good job on the model.
I love this video the makeup look at the end was cool... the girls were really funny and the makeup artist was realistic not rude like some people say and they had a good time... if I can I would love that she does my makeup because she knows what she is doing and she did teach Lucie some stuff like the mascara thing "Dont pump my mascara!" 😂 ... my opinion is that this is a great video and I LOVE IT... and can we talk for a second about the model she is so gorgeous 😍😍
I didn’t know I needed this until I got it lol she did amazing it was great to see her do makeup since her makeup is more on the laid back side 💜
+tiffanysteve Glad you liked!!
Try being a teacher!!! 🙂 I think that’d be super interesting to see
Informative video, well done. I would like to see more videos about careers in the beauty industry🌸
After reading the comments I went into this video thinking that the makeup artist was gonna be evil, but she was fine! I’m not really sure what you guys are talking about, she didn’t seem rude at all
I would love to see Lucy be in a marching band. She could show the world that being in marching band is not easy and requires a lot of agility and perseverance. She could be part of a DCI group and just hold an instrument if she doesn’t play one, or she could be part of the guard. Either would be great. Show the world that marching bands matter!
Mikaela is shaking 😂😂
Loool is this the same "mua" that did those ridiculous refinery29 make up looks? Cos that would mean her attitude made even less sense...
Omg 😂😂😂
I loved the tone of voice at "What did you do?" It says: I'm done, this is tiring.
Why's everyone saying the MUA was being rude? She seems alright to me, she's taking her role seriously. Besides if Lucie really disliked her, I doubt she'd still be doing R29's makeup shoots.
Could you try to be a midwife or nurse for a day to show how incredibly difficult and stressful it is?
Livebreatheatsleep might be a little hard to that bc it's a very delicate job.
Probably not since she didn’t go to school to be a nurse
That’s not possible. It would be a HIPAA violation.
Kindyl De Keyrel hippo
I’m a makeup artist and I don’t think she was rude at all. We usually don’t like other people touch our makeup which we spent a lot of money on. Makeup isn’t cheap
yes the makeup artist was sassy but at the same time its the womans income. One contaminated product can force you to bin it. This is her reputation. Respect that she takes her hustle\ seriously
The model is beautiful without makeup tho
Once again, that was beyond interesting and once again, You found something that I would not have the patience for( I know, surprise surprise). I also have a makeup question that I'm going to save for another time. Until then, Thank You, Stay You and Have a Wonderful Weekend : )
Why is that makeup artist so negative and reluctant, did they force her to participate in this or what 😄
I got the impression makeup is not her passion... she's doing it to pay off school loans... from what she said she doesn't get a lot of money or get paid on time, she had to stand and carry/ travel with heavy bags too.
@@tunesiakirkland380 Oh, you know her? Cool.
As a freelance makeup artist, most payment comes 30-60 days after the job. This is common in the film industry. Also, makeup artists HAVE to stand. You can't sit and apply makeup and of course your bag is heavy because it's full of product that you need for every job. This was shown in the video since everyone thinks a makeup artist is a RUclips guru and just sits in a studio all day.
This is a real world makeup artist trying to show what it's actually like to BE a makeup artist.
@@megaroo1983 I don't know her... my comment was a possible reason for why she comes off "negative". She heavily implies she makes about 20k and sarcastically says I love being broke in the vid. There was no excitement in her voice at all for what she does. Not judging bc most people don't have passion for their jobs- just stating what seems to be the obvious truth based on her statements and demeanor through the entire video.
Omg the makeup artist is just like my mentor during internship in the hospital "don't be scared just do it" "don't do that do this" omggg just let me
The model is the kind of natural beauty that looks better without any make up on
You did so much better than I would have done!
You did awesome Lucie!! 👏
The model looks so pretty without makeup
You should definetly try being a competitive swimmer or a competitive netball player for a day!! Pleaseeeeeeeeee
What brushes was she using? I’ve never seen makeup brushes with that kind of handle 🤔
Wow she actually did really good. I'm a professional makeup artist and she did actually very good for her first time wow
Why did I just realize that this was just posted😂❤️
I really like the eye makeup.
She did an incredible job wow 🤩
Love you loads Lucie!!
Thanks for the Heart!
5 Days of Moodboards :D whether it is fashion, food, style, makeup, wellness and so on ... ps. I love you Lucie!
I liked the model better w/out makeup! She’s so pretty
I love you Lucie I just got out of school
Do the models expect their makeup to be done without the MUA touching them?? How’s that possible?!
i think otherwise she would have to use brushes only
She meant touching her with her hands. You can do makeup with your hands or with makeup brushes/tools. Some clients prefer the second one
Some actors refuse to be touched with fingers. It's super common.
cmon maybe the makeup artist is protective over her craft and her products. that shows how passionate she is
You should try being an elementary school teacher. I have never seen something like that on RUclips before!😊
Professional nail artist
She did really good!
