This is the simplest Hanging Tea Towel design that I've created. You can add this topper to any tea towel. No pleating or gathering of the towel and is a great scrap busting project for a last minute gift!

Very good idea. I'm 64 and a male. I've always been interested in sewing. As a kid I use to have to hem my own pants by hand. I just recently retired and bought myself a sewing machine for a retirement present. Going to give it a whirl. Love your content and ideas.

I love your voice because it's so soothing. I need a long recording of you just reading a book, or maybe a chapter of Psalms in the Bible, that I could listen to when I can't sleep. Shall I admit I've played one of your sewing videos in the night when I couldn't sleep? 😅
Reminds me of another great voice. Mike Rowe has a lovely voice and apparently lots of people (probably only women) said they could just listen to him read a phone book, so he did it. Really though, if he was going to take time to do that I wish he'd have read something better. Maybe a book like the Velveteen Rabbit.

Another winner - a very quick one esp if you are in a hurry. In France that is where the loop is (in the middle) and their towels are round not rectangular. Love your soothing voice.

@@NotchesSewing that wld be v nice but hanging in the oven handle wld be awesome! I have seen the round one in thick absorbent Terry Towel only, I bought 2 but also bought one in Croatia! And I do speak French lol
It is no problem to cut a large circle from a big bath sheet but may be hard to find a large tea towel to cut into a circle. May need to make the tea towel from fabric first. Wait is the diameter of the towels you have or like?
I thought about it but I checked price of fabric and it is expensive and not as thick. The one from France is around 26", Croatia 19" so really any diameter is okay. So it is not worth it at that price!

I’m originally from Cananda. I think my voice is drab too. I put off creating a channel for 10 yrs because i didn’t want anyone to hear it……..it was my husband who really encouraged me to do so. I’m too old to worry about it now🤣

Mainly from Spotlight in Australia but I buys tea towels wherever I see them on sale. Target Kmart Woolworths etc
