paani foundation has done miracles in rural Maharashtra.....most of their videos are very emotional and motivational...every video has a story to tell....story of courage, story of selflessness, story of motivation, story of enthusiasm, story of emotions and story of never say die attitude....since I have been a part of it I know the joy of working for water conservation
andrew you are meeting the right people who have worked day and night in the field of WATER conservation......first Dr. Avinash Pol and now Dr. Rajendra singh….
Glad I ran into this videos. I live in Minnesota, USA and have a little food forest in 1/3 acre in the middle of a town. We get plenty of water but it is sandy soil so it not accessible to the plants for very long, since much of my property is in a small hill. Trying to find out how to keep it available in either a pond or a small creek. A neighbor who was born across the street from me, told me there used to be a creek in my property. There was also a small natural pond within 100 meter from my property, until the city did something, he doesn't know what.
Hello friend. I moved to MN a few months ago after living my whole life in Texas. I enjoy gardening, but haven't had a chance to try out the MN sandy soil yet. I arrived right as the first freeze of 2022 was hitting. In my part of TX it was very hard clay soil. Has anything changed for your situation in the past year? I imagine the introduction of organic matter would help greatly in moisture retention. If you had a pit, dumped a bunch of lawn clippings into it, as they break down with water it would create a semi-permeable pond liner of sorts. I have seen a video here on YT before about ducks helping to establish ponds. Their waste on the bottom of the pond create a water tight liner.
@@kitsurubami That would take years since the soil in most of Minnesota is very sandy. I'm using a liner. I dug one in my previous property and that's what I used.
I have been wondering what is the purpose of my life for many years now I think I know now. I want to help uplift the lives of people living in Indian villages esp through doing water projects and anything that can help bring better prosperity and improve the life quality of the people living in Indian villages
I am sadden there are no subtitles. As a foreigner I have a hard time understanding this accent of English. I thank you for the video, it was very interesting.
I am so sorry for the inconvenience. When we uploaded this video 3 years ago, we weren't doing subtitles. We are much better about the subtitles now. Thank you for watching. :)
Thank you for the amazing work you are doing, this powerful interview and the Pani foundation series are so valuable. May I know what music is used at the start and end of this video? It's beautiful, I'd like to listen to the full song...

The really noisy media houses don't but off late I have started watching Scroll.in videos and Paani foundation and they are great.
I think this guy came to KBC last year.
I was his intern in 2004. It is good to see him still excited about this work and to see the work progressing.

Inspirational. A few video clippings of the restored rivers would have greater impact and excitement.
This man is amazing. Another great being in action.
Thanks Andrew. Thank you Earth Repair #globalEarthRepair

That was pretty damn good, I didn't see any water
I love rain my state rains almost everyday. Newcomers hate it but I'm the happiest when it rains. That's why we are full of plants and animals.
This serious rocks!

Maybe some actual before and after footage next time?
Mind can and should control the heart. It’s a rider and a horse.
Well, No wonder he restored the river, all he said is water in that entire speech. 😂😂
🇮🇳🇮🇳💓🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Who even understands what he is saying? Some video of what the title implied he was supposed to have accomplished would have helped.
🌱
Great message. Bad production. Where is the video of the process or at least the river????
There are many videos of his work available on RUclips.

😊
Shoe me, don’t just tell me, please, sir.
Dragonball Z!
Other videos watching the people working together were better....
Shouldn't you show the river in the first 10 seconds? Sorry, downvote.
My emotional intelligence prompts me to say he does some big business along with water harvesting or in shadow of it.
