Another screenwriter with a criminal mind...I can't fathom how they could write this horrendous and abhorent plot
In China that is the dish of the day absolute trash to women, they don't defend themselves never press charges if they go away they walk right back into abusers arms becuase their men have gold in their pants I guess. lol and we have to stand by and surf through the trash everyday in many platforms

I skipped to the end when he threw her down the stairs. I don't know if the mistress pushed him while he was carrying her down the stairs or if he slipped or threw her down the stairs because they cut that scene to her lying at the bottom of the stairs bleeding. Causing her to miscarry. The more I see this plotline the more I hate it. This guy tortures this girl relentlessly and drains her blood for his mistress. She asks for a divorce and he says he refuses. Saying she owes him and must atone for his sins. But he nor his mistress atone for theirs. He won't marry his mistress making her look pathetic and torturing the female lead. The guy is so stupid that he believes everything his mistress says. Which makes him pathetic and the stupidest guy ever.
This is an edited version that removed that scene. I have seen the unedited version. He didn't throw her down the stairs. He picked her up over his head and threw her over the railing. The stairs probably would've been kinder. He threw her onto the hard floor below on purpose in a rage and then realized what he had done and ran to help her. I've seen a few versions of this story I think. The other versions have the FL realizing she recognized the wrong person at the end, but her and her actual childhood friend are kidnapped, he's killed & she seems to die right as the ML shows up to rescue her. That's how the other versions of this go. This may be the only one that has a sort of complete ending. I'm certain the FL would choose the guy who saved her even if she had her memories, but it's better she doesn't remember the ML and the pain she suffered at his hands. He can live in regret while she moves on with his brother and never thinks of him again.

He’s not just stupid, he is evil. No decent person would do the things he did, regardless of any lies he was told. The fact that he is hateful and vicious and goes out of his way to intentionally harm the female lead over and over, just shows that he has evil in his heart. He is truly pathetic.

I think it is pathetic and hilarious that the writers of these ridiculous dramas can have the man throwing her off of balcony to the floor below and then rushing down to see if she’s OK!😂😂😂 it’s just poor writing, it doesn’t make any sense why he would pretend to care about her.
I WISH the drama would end with her living and leaving him after spitting in his face and showing him contempt. The other problem is that in these abuse dramas they never seem to give the ending we all want: him being punished for his sins and crimes, her her being healthy, free, and living a wonderful life!
ML crying is so pathetic. He doesn’t even care about her but now shed tears. I mean really you treated her like nothing and now he is 2:50:16 crying. Yeah I don’t buy his tears.
I don’t get it either. He’s a psychopath who lacks the capacity for love or empathy. I can understand him pretending to cry if other people are around because psychopaths are good at pretending to have emotions. Why bother when he is alone? No one who has watched this drama believe that he actually ever cared about her. A few tears does not change that.
Do the writers of these dramas have brain damage? The audacity to write a male lead who repeatedly and INTENTIONALLY harms the female lead and then pretends to have feelings is hilarious and pathetic. It’s not a believable or compelling story. He throws her off the balcony to the floor and then runs down to see if she is ok. 😂😂😂. 2:45:10 he claims that if he had known she had cancer he wouldn’t have tortured her (because otherwise torturing her is ok in his book?).
They wrote him as an evil psychopath and then expect us to believe he has actual feelings? 😂😂😂. No one believes that.
And they don’t even give us a satisfying ending where the male lead and evil mistress get their well deserved punishment! Why bother?

He didn’t forget his abuse, he just refuses to take responsibility for his unforgivable actions. He is a self centered narcissist and cannot and will not take ownership of his intentional choices to hurt the FL, over and over. It’s much easier for such a pathetic excuse for a man to blame others for his own choices. He’s not a real man.

I'm sure if it starts out this bad it will only get worse as the drama goes on. She may allow herself to be tortured, but I will not.
